We bought the desk to fit in a small office space. The assembly instructions were very easy to follow and the pieces fit together perfectly. I am impressed.

Full disclosure. This desk is heavy, so I had to get help bringing it inside. I recommend a good size area for putting it together. It takes a drill and hammer and screwdrivers to put it together. I recommend keeping the hardware organized. I had to have help from my son, to drill 6 holes, but otherwise I was able to do the rest all by myself, and with in about 4-5 hours. It's sturdy and handsome. My only complaint is with myself. I'm slow to get it organized.

My husband now works from home and he took over my office in the computer room. I bought this desk for a corner area in the master bedroom. It is just the right size. It has a small drawer for office supplies and a file drawer for my home files. The desk matches my bedroom furniture and adds a touch of elegance with the faux granite desktop. I have always loved the quality of Sauder Furniture.
