We have had these for about a year and they work well! You have to keep the tops brushed off and cleaned out occasionally or they will get clogged. They take AAA batteries

When I received these, I immediately charged them both, then filled with salt and black pepper. They are one handed usage, so I can keep stirring while seasoning. They are sleek, and fun! We will see how long they last, but so far I'm very happy.
