To dispense seasoning with just one hand, remove the lid from either the salt or pepper opening, press the button to activate the LED light and grinding function, and release the button to stop. Adjust the grind by using the dial to select one of the 5 options, ranging from coarse to fine. This innovative grinder can be easily refilled by simply twisting where the metal top and plastic meet,filling the reservoir with peppercorns or coarse salt, and twisting the top back on. Rechargeable and long-lasting, it features a 30-40 minute run time, and comes with a convenient cable that fully charges it in as little as 3-4 hours; the indicator light turns blue when fully charged. Q: Can you add a combination of salt, pepper corns, and dried garlic this product?I always use all 3 anyways when I season, I would rather not have 2 grinders on my countertop. Thanks!

Got this as a christmas gift and LOVE it! I actually put pepper on both ends because some of us like it coarse and some of us like it fine. This way we don't have to fiddle with the settings. It stays charged for months at a time. This time when I went to charge it, it fully charged but doesn't do anything!!! The light comes on indicating what side is being used but no grinding action happens. I'm torn about replacing it if it's going to continue dying in less than a year. Had it for 8 months.
