Q: Warranty on the items?

A: GreenPan cookware has a limited lifetime warranty on manufacturer defects. The non stick coating carries the limit of 2 years. The 2-year warranty on the nonstick coating covers manufacturing defects which are quite rare. Normal wear and tear is not covered under the warranty. https://www.greenpan.us/pages/warranty

A: Lids are meant to be used on the pans they are matched with. Pan lids should always be the same diameter as pan.

Q: Is it safe to use when there are scratches that you can see the chipped part from the bottom?

A: Chipping is a natural occurrence with Ceramic Non-stick. Chipping up to 1 to 2 mm is a perfectly normal occurrence because Ceramic coatings are very hard – i.e. in the same way as Porcelain Ceramics are hard but not very flexible. Secondly, unlike with PTFE coatings, Thermolon does not require any chemical adhesive primer to stick to the pan. Thermolon’s adhesion relies solely on roughening the pan’s surface before the coating is applied, which creates a natural lock and key adhesion. Any imperfections, such as chipping, are considered a reflection of the hardness of Ceramic coatings and not having to rely on chemicals for adhesion. As the product remains perfectly safe for use if it chips, it does not require a replacement. In fact, the hardness of the coating is one of its strengths because it will be less prone to scratching during daily use. The great thing is that our products do not contain any PTFE or other PFAS, and they are free of Lead and Cadmium. If chipping is present along the rim, it is recommended to use pan protectors.

Q: It says it’s recommended to hand wash, but it’s also dishwasher safe. Just how safe is it in the dishwasher? Is it gonna take the outer layer of the pans off and make them chip or crack or something else?

Not for gas ranges. GreenPan says to match the pan size with the gas hob but that isn’t sufficient guidance. Your handles burn on the mid to small sized pans unless you plan to simmer at low heat, everything. Poor design and should not be sold for gas ranges. Caraway will be our next investment as the mid and small sized pots haven’t lasted.

Been using this pan for all of a week and a half now? And already omelets are sticking to it even when using liberal amounts of oil or butter. I've only ever used silicone spatulas. This is actually the second pan to do this. I got one for Christmas and thought it was just a fluke. Won't be wasting my money on this company again

Used several pans only one time and had to throw them away because food stuck so bad to them. I only have 2 pans left a year later. Waste of money.

We are very sorry to hear about the issues with your cookware. This issue can be easily resolved! It is likely that you have a layer of carbonized oil built up on your pan that will create a barrier between the pan and your food. When this happens, you are basically cooking on the layer of oil as opposed to the surface of the pan. This layer may not be visible. This cleaning method has proven to be extremely successful and can be used when you notice staining and/or sticking. For the best results, please try this method twice. Once complete, you may resume normal washing with soap and sponge. Fill the pan halfway with water and bring it to a near boil for about 2 minutes. Pour out the water and place the pan on a sturdy surface such as a wooden cutting board. Carefully use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on the warm surface; this should do the trick. If this does not work, please email GreenPan directly at customercare.us@greenpan.com. They are happy to help!

This pot has been great so far. I bought it to be a popcorn pot but I have made caramel and tomato sauce in it as well and nothing has burned on or stuck. It is very easy to clean and has required no scrubbing. I'm very happy with it as I have been with my frying pan set as well.

We bought this entire set and since day one on a gas stove.the handle connectors smelled like melted plastic. And they are indeed melting. Every time we use them they get worse. What a waste of money. Why are they rated for gas stoves?!?

They cook evenly and clean up super easy. However, the handles burn terribly even with flame on medium. I've used them less than a handful of times and all my handles are black and charred. The company would not do anything and said they don't offer replacement parts. So I would not buy this brand again.

Great pans...I will say you very much have to pay attention to how you clean them and they heat up quicker and more uniformly than any other pan so you can cook on with lower heat and more evenly, I have enjoyed them so far. Very nice. And I love that they are safe to use and I no longer have to wonder if I am unwittingly harming myself and/or my loved ones.

Terrible toxic smell. I washed them before use, and tried using a couple times to see if it was just the initial use. Nope, smell is consistent and completely awful, stinks up the whole house, my skin. Do not purchase.

The pans work exactly as advertised with medium heat being plenty to cook about anything. And non-sit k, let me tell you! Food just rolls off of them and the clean-up is mild soap and water to look like new. Super impressed!!!
