A: Yes, it is safe up to 350 degrees.

A: It does cook edge to edge. It should not warp, always make sure to let the pan cool before washing.

Q: Concerned Greenpan answer to resolve the issue of food sticking to the pan is to use aMr. Clean magic eraser on it. That is a very toxic sponge and defeats the purpose of using a pan free of toxins.

A: The restoring sponge recommended for deep cleaning is perfectly safe. The sponge contains pores, which when moved around your pan, enable it to grab food and oil particles. Our cookware is coated and sealed and, therefore, nothing will leach into your pan. Once the deep cleaning is complete, you may wash your pan as you normally would. If the Care & Use Instructions are followed, you will not have to use the deep cleaning method. This method is only for burnt food or oil.

A: This collection is manufactured in China. Unlike most cookware companies, GreenPan owns their factory, and they carefully control the process. They have won numerous awards for our environmental safety, worker satisfaction, and our overall standards. The factory has its own wastewater treatment plant and 30% of our factory’s energy comes from solar panels on the roof. The also have their own in-house research and development team working towards the next advancements in healthier and better cooking.

A: All GreenPan products comply with the requirements of CA Prop 65, as demonstrated by 3rd party testing, and, as such do not require a Prop 65 Warning label. (The fact that we don’t need to show a Warning Label automatically means that our products are 100% compliant).

This pan became chipped after just a month and a half of use. We used it very often but always hand washed and did not use metal utensils with it. Not worth the money, we’ll be going back to our usual Circulon pans.

My first ceramic frying pan, and after using it, my wife and I both love it. We don't put it in the oven, and we don't put it in the dishwasher. It washes so easy there's no reason to have to put it in the dishwasher.

Purchased as a gift for family. They are so pleased with everything about this pan. Just the right size, cleans easily, heats evenly, the extra handle is a plus, and not too heavy or light and cheap. Quality is more than above average. Coating is amazing and not at all like the old cancer causing non stick surfaces. Will purchase again!

While cooking even at the suggest medium to low heat the handles which are made of or coated with a hard plastic material begin to over heat and the smell of burning plastic or rubber takes over. Manufacturer customer service was not helpful. I would not suggest purchasing this brand with any type of plastic material.

First use was amazing, second use and it completely burnt and the coating no longer works. I was cooking with so much oil and preheated it, I have no clue why it completely failed me. My $20 pan from amazon worked better !

We are very sorry to hear about the issues with your cookware. This issue can be easily resolved! It is likely that you have a layer of carbonized oil built up on your pan that will create a barrier between the pan and your food. When this happens, you are basically cooking on the layer of oil as opposed to the surface of the pan. This layer may not be visible. This cleaning method has proven to be extremely successful and can be used when you notice staining and/or sticking. For the best results, please try this method twice. Once complete, you may resume normal washing with soap and sponge. Fill the pan halfway with water and bring it to a near boil for about 2 minutes. Pour out the water and place the pan on a sturdy surface such as a wooden cutting board. Carefully use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on the warm surface; this should do the trick. If this does not work, please email GreenPan directly at customercare.us@greenpan.com. They are happy to help!

I have been using GreenPans for years. About six months ago, I purchased the two smaller frying pans of this Rio Ceramic style. I love them!!! They appear to be brand new. So, I decided to treat myself to the 12" size. It looks equally as beautiful and functions just as well.

First thing is the set is so pretty. Secondly the fact they are free from all the toxic chemicals sets these pans above so many other brands. They are so easy to clean. The set I purchased comes with bamboo cooking utensils which is perfect for me as I generally opt for wooden utensils for any cooking. I do a lot of cooking and these feel like they will hold up for many many years to come.
