"One of the most exciting developments in recent musical performance is the presentation of works by women composers, both of former times and the present day. Janna MacAuslan's formidable efforts in identifying and cataloguing a wide range of works for classical guitar by women composers will greatly contribute to this development by making it far easier for players to familiarize themselves with a heretofore mostly unknown, but amazingly rich repertory."-Jane Bowers author and professor of music history University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
