Generally very good user interface this year. There are still some glitches getting to the right place to enter data on the appropriate forms (especially when entering data from a K1 with special codes): the program tells you where to enter the data, however it can be challenging to get to the right place where you can actually enter the data.

Too much paper is wasted with the Schedule D worksheets. Even if want to print just one page of say the 1040 without the accompanying schedules, can't do. Otherwise do appreciate the Business 1041 return, though not as easy to deal with as the 1040 form

Good product. Many terms do not have explanations. For example, depreciation calculations page is hard to follow.

No concerns. Easily pulled in tax returns from last year. Mostly very intuitive and provides good explanations. Worked well in completing tow of my kids’ taxes also. Thank you for making it happen.

I switched to H&R Block software a number of years ago. I have been quite happy with their ease of use and capabilities to walk me through the process. The additonal capability to import all my data from existing accounts at my broker, with an individual quality control check makes it very simple to do taxes. Only downside is that they don't make the Premium & Business software available in the Mac environment...

I've been using hrblock for several years without any issues. This year, my federal e-file went through without a problem. However, the state got rejected. The error return code was worthless and I could not find an issue with my return. Hrblock's "fix" was to print and mail my return. Kind of defeats the purpose of e-filing.

the software did not work well for me. i think my business is too simple for the program. i had to file by paper because i could not clear all errors. fortunately, i have closed my business and will not have to file again

I don't like wasting paper, because I'm over 65, it automatically requires a larger type face. There is no setting to reverse it and I can't delete it.

Million dollar glitch

I've used this product for many years. My federal return works out just fine. My state return however list my income as 3,257,000. The program will not allow you to correct it. None of your agents have been able to correct it. So it's of no use to me even though I paid for it.

I’ve used H&R Block tax software for over 15 years, I think! Very satisfied with the product for the most part. I gave a rating of 4 because this year while preparing an S-Corp return for 2024 I could not access the 2023 data file.
