Description
The HABA nativity set comprises the classic wooden figures from the manger, but reinterpreted for a modern audience. The faces and bodies have been made both minimalist and expressive at the sametime. Little ones can familiarize themselves with the Christmas story and reenact it in their own way. The colors have been deliberately toned down to give the figures a contemporary yet timeless appearance.Contents: 1 manger, 1 Mary figure, 1 Joseph figure, 1 nativity scene with baby Jesus, 3 kings, 1 shepherd, 2 sheep, 1 donkey, 1 ox. Material: beech. Dimensions: manger L 11.2 x W 6.3 H 6.61“. Cleaning Instructions: HABA recommends using a cloth lightly dampened with warm water. If you wish to disinfect the toy with a cleaning agent, use a small amount of either water and a mild dish soap or a water & vinegar essence mix. Both options work extremely well in destroying bacteria and cleaning wooden toys. After cleaning, wipe the toy dry with a clean cloth. Remember, Wood is a natural material that soaks in moisture. Do not ever submerse wooden toys in water or place in a dishwasher. Disinfectants (even organic baby wipes), should not be used as they can damage the water based protective coatings applied to protect the stains or paints beneath.

The beech wood is so well crafted and each piece has its own character. I love the lighter coloring of the wood in this set. Overall, it is beautiful as a decoration or set up for kids as a learning tool.

I was not expecting it to be this beautiful and now I almost want to keep it away from the grandkids. It is beautifully made and does not look lie a toy at all. The figurines are just the right size and weight for little hands. I am so tickled with this and my grandson love playing with it.

The best part for me is that my children can carefully play with it and I’m not worried about them breaking it. They seem very durable, except for the staff, but that’s because it’s thin, but still great quality. I find it truly gorgeous! I do recommend taking a picture before taking them out of the box so that you can easily store the pieces in the right slot.

I’ve been in search of a perfect nativity scene, but one can never have too many nativity scenes, especially if you have two different Christmas areas to decorate. I set this one up in my upstairs where I have my second Christmas tree. They nativity scene was easy to set up and the material feels sturdy. One thing I am going to do is superglue everything together because I don’t like the idea of things rolling about .
