Q&A(11)

Q: Like the individual above, I too would like to know if the jar is plastic or glass. I am guessing that it is plastic, which automatically means that I won't buy it.

submitted by Michael - 1 year ago
  • A: Thank you for your question. The blending jar is plastic.

Q: Is the jar plastic or glass?

submitted by DianaS - 1 year ago
  • A: My guess is plastic (Hamilton should answer this). Mine which appears identical (bought used) is thick glass which I think is a good choice. The weight probably helps with it not sliding around.

Q: is this blender really loud?

submitted by Cwr - 2 years ago
  • A: Mine was a used purchase with a glass jar. The best blender I have ever had including a highly computerized Oster (which was great but way too loud) and a vitamix which sounds like a lawn mower engine

Q: Does this blender have a Prop 65 warning?

submitted by JMK - 12 days ago
  • A: Thank you for your question. The label on the bottom of the box, is a notice that the product is compliant with California proposition 65.Proposition 65 requires businesses to notify Californians about significant amounts of chemicals in the products they purchase, in their homes or workplaces, or that are released into the environment. By providing this information, Proposition 65 enables Californians to make informed decisions about protecting themselves from exposure to these chemicals. This is not a label saying there is anything in our products that cause cancer, just that Hamilton Beach is compliant with this standard. If a company is not, it is unable to distribute products to California.
