This item is over priced for its size and quantity. I bought for a birthday gift and returned it. Tge return desk employee said they received many returns from online shoppers for this reason.

Did not use as directed as he didn't have the patience to use the little water bottle so we just submerged in a glass of water for it to begin hatching. Very easy to peel away afterwards. Great for imaginative and creative play. Great alternative to the higher cost of the larger hatchimal.

My only issue is the basket part of the toy is large and the little pieces don't really fit in there anywhere. Other than that, I am thrilled.

She was so fascinated by the eggs hatching. Wish there was more than the 3 eggs as she wanted to try more. She had fun adding the water into the eggs and then them breaking open for her find the little toys inside. Was a great toy experience. My son loved the interactive element as well as the anticipation of which Hatchimal will eventually pop out. You can also accessorize them with wings and pacifiers. Had three eggs, I was able to experience the fun. We did it wrong, we poured water inside and it hatched. After going back and saw the paper with instructions and face palmed. It was still fun to watch the toy hatch through the hole.

It was a little tricky to get the mini waterbottle in, but once we got it placed and squeezed in the water the cute animals popped out. The kids loved it! There was lots of shrieks from excitement. They have been a hit in our house but I will just say the yellow kitty in the front had a very lose head so I did have to take that one away for no one tried to get tempted to put it in their mouth!

They spent all day pulling them in and put and switching them up they loved them. My daughter loved that these were different from ones we've had before where you just rub, it she liked that they hatch with water. I would recommend these and buy them again. The neon colors were super cute as well and a big hit.

Nope - the instructions say to use the bottle and fill up the eggs and they hatch. Either way the eggs get opened, but with her method theres a lot more mess. Nevertheless the toy is a lot of fun and will occupy her for some time. There are little pieces (the Hatchimals themselves are tiny), so definitely recommended for at least 3+.

Also there are very small pacifiers that have already been lost. I would not recommend this for kids as young as 3.

He really liked feeding it the bottle and when it hatched he thought that was so cool. With each egg that hatched he said Its a cutie!!! He has already asked for more so he can feed them and watch them hatch. Overall its a good product that kids will enjoy and I would definitely consider buying.
