[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have never heard of Hatimals before 🤭 So this was pretty excited for the girls to receive this toy in exchange for our honest review. Thanks The packaging is cute and comes with a little rainbow carrying case, the instructions are a picture that shows you put the little egg in water and it cracks open. The girls LOVED this part. But then you need to peel all of the plastic off yourself and we weren't able to get all of the plastic off the eggs which made it sharp and too dangerous for my girls to play with. They come with tiny figures and little soothers for them, but we really weren't sure if we were supposed to keep the bottom egg with the jagged plastic. Because it didn't really come with instructions and the bottom egg had a spring where where the figure sat in, it made it seem like the two were ment to stay together but because of how sharp it was it made the design very confusing because the toy definitely wasn't safe. The figures are cute along with the carrying case but unfortunately we couldn't keep the egg base because of the dangerous design flaw.

They way they made the toys hatch out of the eggs is truly something I've never seen before, its so unique and fun and the animals are so cute! Small toys wouldn't recommend to younger kids 5 and under. Packaging is basic no wasted cardboard. I had never heard of hatchnimals before, and my 4 and 7 year old boys were very excited to test it out. I gotta say, the hatching part was super fun, much quicker than the expandable water eggs they are used to. The design is cute and the hatchnimals are adorable, but they are super tiny. We lost a couple of them and their accessories as they are so small, but they are enjoying the ones that remain. Overall it's a cute toy, I just wish they were a bit larger.

They just recieved the Hatchimal Spring Basket and were immediately endeared to the cute animals you could see. The best fun was hatching the 3 eggs in the basket though. There is a bottle that you fill with water and then squirt into a hole in the egg and then the egg will crack and the animal will pop up! My kids were quite delighted and hatched the other eggs right away. Now that the initial hatching fun is over my 4 yr old has claimed the animals and likes to play with them and the bottle and pacifiers they come with. The only thing we don't about this toy is the basket the animals come in, my daughter tried to carry the animals in it but found they easily fall out, it would be nice if it was more shaped to hold the animals not just the eggs. - Product received for free from Butterly.com in exchange for an honest review

The first one she really enjoyed it and of course this time she’s also so excited that another set of hatchimals will be added on her collection. She’s soo happy that she got another hatchimals toy. This set of hatchimals is soo cute!! I personally love how the hatchimals eggs are made to mimic a real egg where you can break it and have surprise inside. The eggs are kid friendly as well because it’s not sharp material when broken. Was eyeing on this toy to gift to my sister for Christmas and this came just in time for me to gift it to her. In the end of the day, I always sign up for toys from butterly for my little sister and I must admit I do play with her toys from time to time. Still kid at heart :) Definitely recommend this!

While this toy was initially super exciting for my daughter she quickly got frustrated by it. The water didn’t seem to break down the eggs with any effectiveness and when we broke into them the pieces were fairly sharp and poked her hands a few times. She does love the little figures and their cute basket but after the initial opening she has only reached for it once or twice. The packaging was so colourful and my little one was excited to open it right away. Instructions were super simple and he loved putting the eggs into water and watching them hatch. We were surprised how many little figures there were in the eggs. There is a little baby bottle you can fill with water and feed the Hatchimals. There are also little pacifiers. It was fun to open and hatch. My little guy was occupied with them for some time. Cute toy definitely recommend.

She was too eager to play with them that she popped them straight into water instead of stopping to read the directions, but luckily they are designed to “hatch” no water how that water is introduced so they popped open for her and she was very entertained. I do think it’s cool that you have options to use the little bottle, or to place them standing in water for different ways to hatch your little critters. This little basket was so cute and the perfect little gift for a birthday or Christmas. My 6 year old daughter was thrilled to receive this and got right into it to see what adorable little hatchimals she got to add to her collection. My 3 year old son thinks their adorable as well however their a little small for him.
