A: Yes, we started using this when she was around 9 mos old. It’s fluoride free so ok if the swallow it.

Q: Why does this say “dye free” yet it contains dyes/titanium dioxide?

A: we understand your surprise at finding titanium dioxide in our watermelon paste. the titanium dioxide found in our products is a naturally oxidized fine white powder from ilmenite ore. it helps our toothpastes stay bright white in place of using synthetic dyes. we hope that this info brings you peace of mind.

A: Hello there. Any tooth paste that contains glycerin will prevent mineralization, which is found naturally in our saliva, from repairing our teeth. Glycerin also leaves a thick layer that traps bacteria against our teeth, causing decay. Tooth soap or tooth powder may help your toddler immensely. I hope this helps!

Check out the lead levels in this product from Lead Safe Mama. 9 THOUSAND times the safe limit for lead in a product. I am absolutely mortified that my child has been using this toothpaste for the past 3 months. Target, please remove this product from shelves ASAP. This toothpaste can legitimately harm children. This is my go to toothpaste for my kids. They like the taste and it intices them to brush their teeth. My only complaint that doesn't matter what I do it seems to get all over the top and then it is a bit harder to clean up off their face.

A one-off purchase only. Hard to find SLS and fluoride free toothpaste for adults (2 brands only?) that’s reasonably priced (under $5) or with flavor options so even though this is marketed to kids I tried it. Weird taste and too sweet. Can’t imagine kids liking this.

After doing extensive research on the safest toothpastes for my toddlers, we decided on this one and have been using it for the last five years or so. The flavor is tolerable to them and they’ve never given us issues about brushing their teeth. It must be doing a great job, as their always get a clean bill of dental health at their six-month dental hygiene checkups! I’d highly recommend this to those looking for a gentle, clean toothpaste that does not have fluoride in it.
