HENCKELS Graphite Self-Sharpening Block Set

I love my new knives. When I first tried the chef’s I threw a lime into the air and sliced it clean. I could not believe it was clean through. I tried it a few more times and viola it worked every time. I don’t recommend trying this but it was fun.

I'm obsessed with these knives. I especially love the handles on these, so comfortable and fits just right.

This was a huge upgrade from my last knife set. These knives cut great and they look amazing.

Really love the organized block set. Easy to find the correct knife due to the labeling on the block. The self sharpening block is amazing at keeping your knives fresh, and ready to use.

I haven't even had these knifes 2 years. The blades are chipping from the sharpeners along with rust on each of the steak knives. The coating on all of the handles is also coming off so every time you use them there is little shavings in your hands. These were a wedding gift and am very disappointed as to how they felt up.

I live these knives so much. They are such a game changer for my kitchen. The sheer quantity of them allows you to always have the right knife for what you need. The block itself it’s quite long so prepare to have some counter space for it, but so worth it!

We ordered this set and it arrived last week. We are thrilled with it. The knives are much heavier and study than I was expecting, and they work like a dream. We haven’t had them long enough to know whether the self-sharpening components work, but from the quality of the knives and the block, I would be surprised if they did not. Very pleased with this purchase!

I absolutely love this set! It is very well made and cuts everything with ease. Even after using the knives a good bit they still cut the same as if I just opened them. Highly recommend!

One knife already completely broke, all of them have tarnish and surface rust on them decoding on the handles is starting to come off. The self sharpening block literally takes chips out of the blades as well. They are definitely not dishwasher safe like they advertise. And if you try to reach out to the company for a warranty, they will blatantly ignore you.

This review is based on the unit I purchased before having to turn it in for the warranty. Beautiful set that matched with our kitchen perfectly! Knives stayed sharp (for the most part), but had a very difficult time sharpening the Utility knife. Why that was the only one that refused to sharpen, I have no idea. We had to use the warranty to turn in the set because, despite saying they are dishwasher safe, the handles all started to peel and looked cheap. We now have a replacement set and will NEVER put these knives in the dishwasher, but let's hope ALL the knives can sharpen as they're supposed to.

These knives are fantastic! I highly recommend them. They are always kept sharp and cut smoothly.

Arrives damage and got wrong knife. Definitely not as pictured. Big discount because they aren’t worth what you pay. They say the block is self- sharpening and then they want you to mail them in to guarantee them to last. Target said they could not be returned and you would get full refund, but they lied and want you to return it. I didn’t want to return it, but have them fix the problem.

We enjoy the variety of knives included with this set. The only real 'knock' on the product us the apparent lip for the graphite color. I might have chosen a textured handle instead if I knew about this. However, we do only like purchasing single-piece knives, so this still fits the bill. Sharpness out of the box was great so far also as well.

I received the 14 pc knives with self sharpening block. Love them. I am selective on kitchen purchases and these made the grade. Sharp, easy to handle and added bonus of a self sharpening block. After all, no one likes a dull knife.
