It is not nearly as exciting as the bots that you see on the show. The remotes often overlap. One remote controls both bots at the same time. The bots can't go straight. The Duck in this set is just a moving box almost. The "beek" doesn't have the flip power, but instead it is a slow lift. It was disappointing overall.

My sons and I have all of the Battlebots and this set is BY FAR the most reliable in my experience. We’ve had to repurchase both the Witch Doctor & Bronco and Bite Force & Blacksmith sets because 3 of the 4 broke beyond my knowledge of repair. You have to be very comfortable with your ability to take apart and repair motorized toys with these things or the cost adds up a great deal. Our Tombstone, Sawblaze and Whiplash models all broke within the first week or play. That being said, we’ve had no issues with Duck and only minor issues with Rotator. Easily the most reliable of the sets. Wish Hexbug was able to duplicate their quality with the rest of the models or bring down the cost cause durability is a huge issue with these toys overall.

We got the 2 pack and if you turn them on separate they work you turn them on together to battle and one remote try’s to run everything

It came out of the box with 1 of them not working. Otherwise it would have been fun.

Hours of fun! They are more durable than I thought and my little loves to battle with them. The controls are so easy for very young kids to use due to their size and easy buttons.

My biggest issue is with Rotator, my son was excited to play with this bot but his excitement fizzled soon after we placed rotator in the battlebot arena. If you activate the blade and they contact a wall on the arena it jams the blades and leaves the bot inactive (no motion) at first I thought there was a issue with the remote then later realized it was the blades by testing while blades were removed. It is a bit frustrating and for the price it would be nice if you could us the controller to move the bot when the blade contacts the wall. If you don't mind moving Rotator with your hand frequently which kills some of the fun then I guess it's okay.

An okay toy, have some issues with the connection? The bots would “go out of range” and stop responding even though they were right in front of the controllers. Not sure what causes it. Other than that happening occasionally, they have been pleased with them.

These have a high performance in an incredible small package but a few issues that buyers need to be aware of. Just opened ours up and one of the bots (Rotator) seemed to be getting interference (taking off without input and controller inputs had a delayed effect) It also was making a grinding gear sound. After inspecting it and troubleshooting, I finally replaced the batteries... problem solved! That fixed all the issues. Also I have seen reviews that complain about hairs getting wrapped around gears; this can easily be fixed by removing the few screws and taking the hairs off; just be sure to pay attention (take a picture) of how it goes together before taking it apart. Kids of ages 3-15 all love it. For 50$ I wouldn’t expect everyone to have to repair/maintain their toys, but for the performance and fun value, it is worth it for us.

Great buy at a special sale. The kids love these - great to occupy them while they're cooped up inside.

Fantastic product, shipped fast, and are real life replicas of the bots with exquisite detail! A must have for any BattleBots fan!
