This tv is really good. It is simple and fast to set up. All you do is plug it in and it walks you through the process. You may choose to set up more options if you wish to when you intially plug it in or later after the basics. The picture qualtiy is good but not the best. I would say maybe a 7 of 10 or 8 of 10 if I want to be generous. The thing that's really nice about the tv is the fact there are so many applications and the fact you get the power of Google with it. You have the ability to stream internet without a secondary device; however, I would not recommend it due to it slowing the tv down due to cookies. The only thing I will say where this tv misses it is the speakers. They are lacking bass but if you are in a smaller room you tend to not realize it so much or get use to it after watching for a while. It is a simple resolution by getting surround sound though. For the price it beats all the higher priced televisions in my opinion.

Won't Ever Buy a Hisense Product Again

I bought this TV in December of '24. I emailed Hisense's warranty dept. with pictures asking if the light bleed (shadowing) was a normal amount. They said no, and sent out a technician to install a few parts. Parts were installed and no improvement was made. They then said the light bleed was a normal amount and there’s nothing wrong with the TV. I asked if we could compromise on a new panel or TV, and I’d throw some money towards it. They said no. I would have returned the TV but it was past the Target return window at this point. After a month of back and forth, finally a Hisense manager apologized for all the headaches and inconvenience and said let me see if there’s something we can do for good faith. They called me a week later saying there’s nothing they can do. I will never buy a Hinsense product again.

I bought a Hisense tv 49” out of the box with remote no warranty no guarantee at another store(not target). They wanted to make room for the new models. I bought it 4 years ago for $120.00 Never had any issues, never broke and I highly recommend this TV.

Since I monitor my children's devices with Google Family Link, I thought this TV would be a good purchase, but the child profile is extremely restrictive to the point I had to return the TV. In a child's profile, there is no search option so you cannot search for a movie & be shown different apps where the movie is playing. You cannot change inputs without a parent PIN. There is a pre-selected assortment of apps for the children's profiles, so if you subscribe to some service like Max, Paramount Plus, Cartoon Network, etc., you are not able to add that to their profile. For an older kid, the 3 available themes are extremely childish (whales/dinosaurs/space) with no option to download more. The TV display was awesome. The colors were vivid & very detailed, but if you plan on using this with Family Link for any child that's over 5 years old, I would not recommend this at all.

I really like this tv, picture quality is great and the sound is not bad, great size for a tv in your room and the stands that were included were good too. Decided to mount my tv instead, but this tv really is a good purchase. Tv was manufactured January 2023, the TV died June 2024. Checking Reddit I see that these TV’s only last about 2 years. I wouldn’t purchase this brand again.

I watched The Avengers movie on Disney Plus in 4k, and the movie was crisp, clear, and enjoyable to watch. The sound was loud and clear, and the TV had 4k, Dolby sound, and a nice screen for a decent price. I would definitely recommend buying this TV.
