Got this on a Wednesday evening. Charged it fully. Used it at night. Next morning it was dead, perfect I thought it worked well for the night. Charged it Thursday for that night, will not turn on. Literally the same as others said, after one charge it stops working. I am so completely dumbfounded. I should have listened to/believed the other reviews I read. Do not waste your money. Now I must return.

this fan is honestly great. I noticed that some of the reviews noted that it didn’t work after a charge or it stopped working abruptly, but I can say that I have owned my fan for a few months now and have had no issues with it. I use it regularly on the highest speed and I think it provides definitely enough cooling. I mean whenever you have a portable fan, you can’t expect 20 mph of wind to come out of it or anything crazy but it definitely provides a sufficient amount of wind for its size and I think it’s great especially given the value. I’ve bought another and I’ve also had success with that one too.

This fan blows out air just as one would expect it to, and perhaps even a little better. However, the battery inside means that eventually, even if you keep it plugged it at all times, the battery will give way and you will have a fancy brick. Until then, good fan at a good price (9 USD at time of purchase)!

Fan works great. The battery isn't super lasting but for a $15 its to be expected. If you want something to last for hours on end it's out there you just have to pay the price for it. I have had other portable fans in thr cheaper range they all work the same so my expectation was what I got.

My cousin purchased this fan yesterday for me to use in the hospital. It worked for a total of an hour and then would never turn on again I tried everything. It is very frustrating to not feel good and really need the fan to work. I have tried it with it being plugged in also with no luck. I thought maybe if I found something to get the motor moving by spinning the fan blades it would start working but it did not work at all. Word of advice DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS HUNK OF WORTHLESS PLASTIC!!!!!

It fully charged in about 4 hours, and ran on high for over 5 hours (after which it just turns off.) Despite its small size, it delivers good airflow and is fairly quiet. It comes with a USB "C" charging cable, it's always nice to have an extra one of those around. :)

Purchased this to keep our tent cool overnight while on a summer camp trip. The fan power is quite good for the size and considering it's battery operated, but the battery does not last long on "high" setting. The "8 hours run time" marketed on the packaging is (not surprisiningly) only applicable if using the fan on "low" setting (it has 3 settings: low, medium, and high). Today after I unplugged the charging cable, the charging light was stuck on green (signifying full charge), but the unit would not turn on, the motor felt hot to touch, and smelled like burning. I've contacted the manufacturer (Holmes) for assistance.

I really liked this fan at first for my baby while camping but after a couple of weeks it is so noisy. It is rattling or something to the point where it wakes us up. It also doesn’t hold a charge so I had to keep it plugged in so it would run all night.

This was one of the worst fans I've ever purchased. The battery life was absolutely terrible and would not last through the night. When you plug it in the fan would not blow as much cold air as it does when charged. As a person who needs a fan to sleep this was terrible I woke up at 3am everyday to a dead fan.
