I broke my foit and was nonweight bearing for two months. We bought this ramp to help me enter our home. It worked perfectly! The ramp has grip so that you don't slip, which was very important for me since we leave in Oregon, and the winters are about rain.

The ramp, albeit quite heavy, is exactly as described. It works perfectly as an access to my patio which has a very asymmetric series of 3 steps. All I needed to "finish it off" was one threshold piece - I was afraid that I would have had to really work to make a better transition but the ramp works extremely well - much better than anticipated! It is sturdy and very easy to use. The pitch is very good. I could not be happier with this product - I highly recommend. .

This is an excellent ramp. Very sturdy, and light enough in weight that I could move it around pretty easily. I'm a 140 lb woman. I had to figure out the best way to fold and unfold it, but that was not a big deal. The narrow width of the ramp was perfect for our small sliding glass door entrance. yet it still accommodated my dad¡®s electric chair with no problems. His chair is almost 24 inches wide. The opening of our door was about 26 inches wide. The step is about 7 1/2 inches high. So it was a tight but perfect fit. The only thing that seem to be a little drawback, was that I could not figure out how to keep it folded and pinned together while I was carrying it. A bungee cord around the folded ramp would easily solve the problem, and this is a minor issue.

Great product but i probably should have gotten 4 feet instead of 6 feet. It is a little heavy for me and my wife. we are 71 years old and a bit heavy. My wife needs to lift it since i am confine to a power chair due to amputation issues. the 4 foot would have been what i needed. But not your fault just bad judgement on my part. Great product just a bit heavy for my wife. Thanks Roger

Had to get one of these to enable us to get my mother-in-law into the house for visits. She has to go up two stairs from our garage into the house and it was getting almost impossible to maneuver her in due to her disabilities. It required a minimum of two people to support and guide her and tell her how to move safely to get into the house. I built a short wooden ramp but it wasn't too helpful, ended up too steep. This 6 foot long ramp has a better angle and now we can just keep her in her wheelchair and roll her in and out of the house.

I decided rather than build a 16 foot ramp I would put a 6 & 10 foot ramp together with a small platform between them for getting into a cabin. This way at the end of the summer I could easily dismantle the ramps and store them for the winter. These were ideal for the job.

The welds on it seem very solid. The trade-off for this type of application is you want it light and small but also want it sturdy. If you were going to install a ramp permanently and were not going to move it around, I would get a solid ramp, not one that folds up. However, if you have the need to transport the ramp and constantly set it up and then take it down, then this is a very good option.

Very sturdy product, even though it's not super lightweight, it can handle my father in a wheelchair, without feeling unsafe. Once folded up, it is fairly easy to carry and move. It fit into the back of an SUV without issue. The peg system that holds it together once folded is simple but works. I used this over a dozen times and it still seems fine.

I purchased this ramp to replace my 20+ year old ramp. It is a tight fit in the side door of my Grand Caravan, but it does work. The ramp does rattle more than the old one, but I have wrapped a moving blanket around it and that seems to help. I would recommend this ramp for anyone that needs to load item in their van or home.
