A: Sauder products are manufactured with engineered wood. This is a material made of hard and soft wood bound together with resin. Each shelf is rated for 25lbs each, the bottom shelf is rated for 50lbs.

Overall a nice looking and well constructed cabinet that is very easy to assemble. The only problem is the hinges could not be adjusted enough to prevent the door from rubbing on the bottom. The pre drilled screw holes were slightly out of proper position. Other than that assembly was flawless.

I'm using it as a food pantry. It was pretty easy to assemble. The only problem we had was the back piece F on the manual did not line up. It's only a backer so it doesn't really hurt anything

Looks good, and well designed and manufactured. All the holes aligned and assembly instructions had clear diagrams and were well written. Not as sturdy as a custom made cabinet but much more affordable.

Sauder could use some better quality control. There are dings in the finish on one of the side panels that obviously took place in the factory. Attempts were made to repair them bur only one looks halfway decent. Also, alignment of parts with holes for screws is a bit off, which makes assembly difficult in some areas. And, I can't get the door to hang straight, no matter how much I adjust the hinges. Consequently, between the misalignment of the side panels with the base, and the lack of better hinge alignment, the whole thing looks a little off balance to anything more than a passing glance. Lastly, the hinges are spring-loaded, so there is no actual latch for the door. Time will tell if this presents a problem. We will use this cabinet as an addition to our kitchen cabinets to handle the overflow of pots, pans and other cookware. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend, but with reservations.

This would have been a 5 star review. However, the back panel was cut too short tobe correctly installed (see photos). I don't have the energy or the time to disassemble and return; so, I'm stuck with an item I have to figure out how to correct

The door arrived with a crack on the door where the handle attaches. The door is also not very well constructed. The corners were separating at the corners. We are using this as a pantry.
