A: This is a face cleanser not a makeup remover. For clean skin you should always remove your makeup and then wash it :-)

Q: What scent does this cleanser have? I see lavender oil in the ingredient list, which isn't my favorite scent in larger amounts, but if it's subtle, I would definitely give it a try!

Pros: My face felt clean after using it. Gentle on my sensitive skin. Cons: The smell is strong. I used this product for about 2 months. My nose was congested the whole time using this. I didn’t want to believe it because I really liked the product until one day I was like maybe this is a reason for my congestion. I threw the bottle away and I was actually able to start breathing again once I stopped using it. Overall, if you don’t have a high tolerance for fragrance don’t use this. if you have sensitive skin be wary on what you believe your face can tolerate.

I love Honest Beauty and their mission, but I don't think a product has ever made my skin feel so bad- dry and tight- after washing. Skin care or makeup never really irritates my skin, but there's something bad about this one. It certainly does not feel "gentle" in the least bit. I refused to believe it for awhile, but I started switching inbetween this Honest cleanser and the DHC deep clensing oil, and the tight/dry feeling only ever happens after I use the Honest one. I wouldn't recommend, unfortunately.

It's not great. I appreciate the Ingredients but still gave me a pimple. I dont know long term it may be good for you but I think there are better gentle cleansers that are a little more affordable than this one

I originally selected this cleanser because of the chamomile and calendula. The smell is faint, but really nice and spa-like. The cleanser for me was way too drying though and therefor I had to return it.
