Garage Tool Hook and Rail Kit - Brightroom™: Steel Utility Storage Rack, Garage Organization, Broom Holder, Black

There is a $15 and a $30 hook and rail kit. The $15 one (this one) is more meant for broom, mop, Swiffer, and the $30 is more for shovels, rake, general garage stuff. This makes sense. But the part that sucks, is the $15 one isn't just smaller hooks for the same general system, it's an entirely different system. The small hooks won't go on the larger bar, and vice versa. Also, this one, the smaller one, is less flexible, and they don't have additional hooks for sale. The larger hooks are much too large for a normal broom and stuff, but what I would like is to be able to expand and buy more hooks of both sizes, and mix and match. If these two kits had been two sides of the same coin, one more indoor, one more outdoor, but ultimately cross compatible, it would be a great system. But they're not, so I'm being cranky about it. I was so hopeful, but target, you let me down, you dashed my hopes and dreams.

I'm always looking for a way to create more storage and to help organize areas of my home, in the garage especially. I was very excited when I found this Brightroom Garage Tool Hook and Rail kit, but once I received it I was mostly disappointed. Without even installing or using the kit the black coating is already chipping and coming off in two different areas. The hooks themselves seem nice and sturdy and I love that they snap onto the rail in a way that is easy to remove them to re-organize the system at a later time however, they will not easily fall off if bumped. The number one issue I have with this kit, and the reason why I took off so many stars is the fact that the drilled holes are not standard stud distance. They should be 16" away from each other so that you could easily attached this rail right into studs to help it be more secure and stable, however that's not the case and you're forced to have to use at least one point in only drywall. That is very disappointing as that could have easily been done if someone would have taken the time with the design. If you had no plan to put this into studs then it would be an awesome little kit to help organize a variety of items. It does come with plenty of screws and drywall anchors along with other hardwear you may need for installing.

For what this is at it's price point this tool holder is pretty nice. I feel calling it a hook and rail system though is not entirely accurate. A rail system would let you slide the different pieces along it. This has notches in the top where the two different types of tool holder attachments can fit. So you can change up which hook is in which position but there is no sliding along the rail. Still it is very sturdy and works well.

Nicely made and sturdy with a unique look to the hooks. Easy to hang up and put on the wall. Very modern looking. Definitely will serve its purpose well and comes with dry wall screws for a nice install

I’m happy with this hook and rail kit. I love that it comes with all the mounting hardware, including concrete anchors. With a total of 8 screws this rail is incredibly secure when mounted. The black finish is sleek and works with any decor. The only downside is it comes with three double hooks and three hinged hooks. The hinged hooks only work for brooms and similar items by holding them in place leaning against the wall. I didn’t like how insecure that was so instead opted to use this for my kids backpacks and jackets.

Fast and easy to install with provided screws. Sturdy, made well and it looks nice with the sleek black finish. Comes with six hooks that you can add or remove to benefit your needs. Helps keep me organized and gives a place to hold all my cleaning tools and more.

This organizer is super easy to assemble and install, and it's very sturdy. With the inclusion of both types of hooks, you can hang just about any tool. I used mine to organize my shed, but it would also be great in a garage, basement or cleaning closet.

The hooks will not stay on and everything keeps falling. I’m probably going to throw it away!
