Hot Wheels RC Mega Wrex Alive - 1:15 Scale

Had it for about three weeks when it started to not hold a charge for very long. By week five it stopped holding a charge period and now it won’t turn on. Fun while it lasted

Bought this for my son on Christmas, looks cool but after unboxing and charging he ran it into the wall once and it stopped working, turned it off and on and now the controller will not connect.

Keeps my grandson entertained. He loves it. I love that it’s rechargeable.

This one is super sturdy. It also makes lots of noises and talks to you! He even snores when he’s charging. The only thing I don’t love is the remote control does not turn off.

It lights up bright and rawrrs which my kiddo loves and gets a laugh at. Not too bulky or heavy which is also great for mi kid to lift and carry around.

It has a wireless remote that is easy to use, it has different settings, my favorite is stunt mode and it has flashing lights and sounds to include a fart sound that makes everyone laugh. It’s rechargeable and the best thing ever is the charging cord stores inside so you won’t have to search for it or guess which cord it is. I definitely recommend getting one of these trucks, I already plan on buying another one for Christmas so we can have races and put in stunt shows. It’s not just a kid favorite it’s fun for adults too.

He loves the sound effects and the lights. The remote is small enough for his little hands to use but not to small for an adult to also use.

The truck starts off with white/blue lights but the more items you smash the front into the closer you get to SMASH mode. Once his eyes red, press the button on the top right of the controller and Mega Wrex goes into SMASH mode which let's him drive faster. He also does fantastic Wheelies! This truck was fun for the whole family as we all wanted to try it. Charging is easy with his power cord located underneath him. I would definitely recommend this truck for any Monster Truck loving person.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is our first remote control vehicle, and my son hasn’t stopped playing with it. It makes sounds and lights up as it is driven. My son is able to hold the remote control with ease as it fits his hands perfectly. The charging cord has a convenient spot for storage on the underside of the vehicle. It is designed very well. It is also holding up well as my son crashes it into the couch. My furniture isn’t harmed either. It is a winner for us!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were thrilled to receive the Hot Wheels Mega-Wrex R/C Monster Truck. It has 3 stunt modes as well as interactive sounds & lights, which are very cool. There is a red ‘HUNT’ mode, where the monster truck powers up and every time it bumps into something there are lights and sounds. The next mode is “SMASHER” mode, which happens as it bumps into more and more things and it gets louder and has more active lights. (The “eyes”, “teeth”, and wheels all light up. ) In the “GUARD” mode, the truck ‘sleeps’. My kids love to smash it into things to hear the sound effects and make it “angrier” – louder and more lights – and then you can also do cool tricks like wheelies. The truck goes pretty fast and it has good range so that they can drive it all over the yard. The quality of the truck seems very good, it is very bright and colorful and has a lot of detail which is also appealing to my kids. This definitely keeps my kids entertained, and I think it’s fun for a wide age range. The manual is clear and easy to read and the truck was able to be used almost immediately – it needed to be fully charged first, which only took a short time via the included USB cable. The USB cord is so much more convenient than batteries, since my kids play with this constantly. When you plug it in to recharge, the eyes flash and then turn solid green to indicate it is fully charged. A nice touch is that the USB charging cord hides in a little compartment on the underside of the truck – so it never gets lost! The remote is small and easy for a young kid to hold, understand and use.

My son pretended the Dino- themed car ripped its way out of the box and didn’t put the controller down until the battery needed recharging! The alive and smash modes add extra fun to this RC car, and made my son laugh every time it was activated. The guard mode when the RC is charging made it easier to convince my son to let the Mega Wrex “rest” as he enjoyed watching it cycle through its light up colors. Great RC, my son has played with it for an hour or more for this first week of having it. Great for imagination as well as learning how to control an RC. Highly Reccomend!

The truck is robust and rugged feeling, but the small controller works for younger kids. The truck re-charges via USB, but the remote uses traditional alkaline batteries. The truck is a lot of fun and easy for my 6-year-old to use. He's been using it indoors on the carpeting in our living room. It drives easily over the carpeting, and even some blocks and small toys he has scattered about as obstacles. He also took it for drive outside on our deck. On the front there is a "bumper" that plays sound effects when hit. The truck can do tricks by popping up on its rear wheels. There are bright lights in the wheels and windows.
