Q: How easily does the ice remove from the silicone? Do the cubes fall out directly after being removed from the freezer or is it necessary to wait a bit for them to defrost?

A: The crushed ice cube tray works best if you give it a minute or two after removing from the freezer, then twist to remove cubes. Cheers!

We even tried to wait at least 5 minutes, and still the ice cubes were either melting or not coming out easily. We bought 4 trays because it was a great idea, but not for us.

Q: How long does it take these cubes to freeze? If I put them in freezer today at lunch, will I have ice or water tomorrow at lunch?

A: You will have ice tomorrow at lunch if you put in today during lunch. Although it depends on the freezer, these cubes are tiny and should only take a few hours to freeze. Cheers!

Q: How do you put this tray in the freezer since it's silicone and bends? Do you put it on some kind of plate before inserting it in the freezer? So the water doesn't spill as you carry it.

Ease of use and design not ideal. End result is cute and effective, just think it could be achieved with improved efficiency in a newer model. Maybe lower the price on this one. I’d pass on this one and keep looking in hindsight.

For y'all having problems with putting the water in the tray and is spilling while you're walking into the freezer how about you put the tray in the freezer then put water into the tray while it's in the freezer so you don't have to travel from the counter to the freezer.

There are so many bad reviews I was actually surprised how much I love it. To fill, I find it easiest to tilt and have the water run over the cavities rather than directly in them. You can basically hold it vertically. I left it in the freezer for a few days, I wasn't in a rush. To pop them out, I turned the ends parallel, ice out, and rolled it back and forth. Got about 80% of the cubes out, and another minute for the remainder. The only thing is 160 small cubes isn't a ton. I am doing another tray to build up my reserve. :)

I love these types of cubes so I decided to try this and what a waste of money! Filling it up is difficult because there is no siding to the tray so water just flows right out instead of into the squares. Ridiculous. So what you have to do is put the ice tray on a solid tray like a cutting board (because the silicone is so wobbly) and pour water over it very slowly then use a knife to spread out the water but it will still overflow because there are no sides so have a towel ready. Then once you’ve spent a minute spreading out the water you can lift up your cutting board with the ice tray still on it and put them both in the freezer. The cubes do freeze within a couple hours so that’s quick but don’t worry this next part is also going to take excessively long! Now that the cubes are frozen you’re going to have to spend the next 5 minutes prying out the cubes because bending and smacking the ice tray on the counter or ice box will do nothing!! You have to wait for the cubes to melt a little so you can pluck them out. I really wanted to like it because I love these cubes and I did this silly procedure for days but I can’t anymore. Way too much work for just ice.

I saw this at target without reading the reviews. All I thought was wow this looks so cool! But I remember trying to fill it up and it was always leaking and thennn when I finally wanted to use the ice after a few days, it was almost impossible to remove. Now it just sits in our freezer with no purpose. I wish the squares was slightly bigger and deeper so the ice would be easier to remove from the tray. If you’re thinking about buying this because it looks cool, I honestly wouldn’t waste your money

Nice size ice, but impossible to get all of the cubes out. Twisting it different ways only causes the cubes to come out all over the counter. Another reviewer said it was easy if you had common sense. Apparently a lot of people including me do not. She should have shared the trick. Don’t waste your money.

So flexible I can't get it in the freezer without spilling, had to put it on a plate therefore I can't stack the second tray on top and...impossible to get out. Ugh.
