I find it difficult to maintain a set speed using the thumb control. Each bump in the road jiggles my thumb.

I bought this 2 weeks ago and could not be happier great fo night rides at going around town

Son loves it, but tired was put on backwards from factory and has now broken and no one responds from the company

Battery was stolen from ours and now we can’t replace it

My scooter stopped working, it doesn't turn on, I recommend buying this product

within a WEEK of having this scooter it kept dying on me after 20 minutes of riding it. im so disappointed in this purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Hover-1 Helios Electric scooter, about a month ago, for my 18 year old Son. He's 5'4" and weighs around 180 lbs. The weight limit is 240 lbs, so this is perfect for him! Assembling the scooter, was fairly easy and it was fully charged, upon arrival. This electric scooter is really fast, even without hitting top speed, rides smooth and has a long battery life. My son was able to ride it for more than 24 miles, before it needed to be charged. Charging it, does take hours, but the amount of time, the battery lasts, is worth the wait! My oldest son was nice enough to let his 12 year old brother ride it. My 12 year old weighs around 100 lbs and is just 4'10" I wouldn't really recommend this for kids his size. The handlebars were about neck height and it seemed to be a bit heavy for him. Although it may not be good for younger kids, it is perfect for bigger kids and adults. It has so many great features too! The Hover-1 is equipped with a working headlight, tail light, odometer, trip mileage, battery power indicator, bell, phone holder, 3 speeds, cruise control and more! This is exactly, the kind of scooter I've been looking for! I would most definitely recommend this Hover-1 Helios Electric Scooter!

It is a great that it can be connected to her iPhone to adjust the settings and love it has a digital screen. It an be folded up for easier storage and taking on trips. It definitely has a lot more power than most electric scooters with the capability of reaching 18 mph. This scooter will not disappoint. Don’t hesitate to buy it!

The build quality is outstanding and very sturdy. The setup is super easy and straightforward. Just had to attach handles and tighten the brakes how I wanted them and that’s about it. The handle folds down to help save space when not being used which is a nice feature. They also have a mobile app you can connect and use while riding with larger buttons on the screen so it’s easy to see. Battery life, speed, and everything about this scooter have been great so far. I expect with proper care this will last me many years. Very much recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little scooter has some serious zoom to it! My husband was the first one to try it out and he's officially claimed it as his own. Right out of the packaging on the charger it went. I think we charged it for a few hours before we honestly couldn't wait any longer. With some slight adjustments on the brakes off it went. It seriously have some pep in it's step and is a super blast for the whole family. It holds a charge very well. We currently reside in an RV park and this is perfect for zooming around! Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great scooter for actually getting around. This isn't a toy, it's a vehicle. I got an electric scooter last year for my kids from one of the major brands in the space and it's very good but it tops out at around 10 mph and you feel all the bumps and cracks in the road. But this Hover-1 Helios Electric Scooter is amazing. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth and your phone becomes a second screen for the scooter where you can change settings and turn on the light for nighttime riding. The scooter also has a built in screen which tells you your speed and the battery life. There are 3 speed settings: Eco tops out at 9 mph, Comfort at 12, and Sport at 18. It actually is pretty fast. It takes a couple rides to get comfortable but then it seems pretty easy to ride. You have to slow down for turns and use your brakes slowly to stop. The app tracks your ride and you can look at it later, also shows your avg speed. The battery charged up in a couple hours and it says it lasts up to 24 miles. It folds up really nicely. And there's a key to remove and insert the battery so if you want to take the battery with you then you can. Also the app has a lock button which then alerts you as soon as someone starts to use the scooter. This is a big scooter and pretty heavy too. Not sure I'd want to use this as a non electric scooter but you can in a pinch. Really highly recommend this Scooter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying, this thing is amazing! We encountered one issue but I think that was user error. Pros: set up was very easy! Most of it is assembled. Only had to put on the handle bars. Collapses in half for space saving. Phone mount. Digital display. Headlight and taillight. The battery did need to be charged for a solid 6 hours but we haven’t had to charge it since and we’ve had it a couple weeks now. The battery also comes off with a key which is such a great safety feature when on the go. Also, this is large scooter… much bigger than we anticipated. Our neighbor called it the high end of the electric scooters he was so blown away by the sleek look and large body. The gears are very easy to use when switching speeds. There’s 3 modes, 1-10 mph, 10-12 mph, and 12-18. Although, I did see it top out at 19. Holy moly it’s fast! Cons: not worth taking down any stars but it’s tall. At 5’3ish I could’ve appreciated a shorter handle or an adjustable frame. But my husband 5’11 and our older kid 5’8 did just fine with it. The user error I mentioned earlier… my husband took it for a spin. He said the frame collapsed on him. He jumped off the scooter to prevent a near death experience lol. I honestly think this was his problem (I don’t think he fastened the front clip where the frame collapses for storage). I could be wrong so maybe a safety issue? But I’m going to chalk it up that this is his problem because I have not encountered any issues. Note: It’s is definitely NOT intended for night use. The lights on them are not bright enough. I would also not recommend or suggest a young child using this! The warning labels tell you so and for good reason. Overall, amazing product and highly recommended.

We got this for our teenager, she enjoys riding it around the neighborhood and around the trail at the park. Set up took less than an hour to get handle bars attached, charging the battery took a little time but is a simple process. The scooter itself has some nice features. The acceleration and brakes are smooth, the suspension and pneumatic tires offer a smooth ride as well. The display screen allows you to view the battery power, speed, cruise control functions, and access the lights. The scooter has a safety feature where you have to manually start the scooter by putting it into motion yourself before you will be allowed to accelerate. The scooter can go up to 18mph in sport mode, but my daughter prefers to cruise at slower speeds, which makes me feel better about her using it. She doesn’t need to be zooming through the neighborhood that fast. We are in a small town so she can ride this for multiple days before charging, everything is within a few miles. In an urban or suburban setting, or using this as your main mode of transportation, would mean you would need to charge it more frequently. But the battery life is great! The scooter is very impressive, this is our first electric scooter and I can see why these are so popular in city centers. They are fun and a great mode of transportation! We are beyond happy with the Helios Hover scooter!!

My 6 year old rode it. My wife rode it. My 15 year old rode it. It’s awesome. I wish we lived in the city to use it for commuting.

First it comes with all the tools needed to assemble the handlebars and tighten the brake levers. The battery is removable and took about 4 hours for the first charge. I live in a rural area and the sides of the roads are unfinished the scooter has handled well in the dirt and rough roads and rides smooth. It hits the top speed easily and has no problem staying there even on rough surfaces. The phone holder clamps my phone securely and the app makes changing the modes easy while the built in map works well. Overall I have been impressed with the ride and range of the scooter.
