Smells like dead bugs. I had avoided Progresso because their tomato sauce smelled bad and bought this instead. Lately it has been going down the drain. No more Hunt's tomato sauce or paste - it smells like dead bugs

I’ve never had an issue with Hunt’s before but after using it last night I started having the symptoms of an allergic reaction and I only react to nuts and shellfish. Will definitely not be using this again

You just ruined my 2 pounds of meat that I used for chili. It tastes as if I dropped a lot of sugar in it. You have always been my go to for tomato products. Not any more.

My sister and I have always been pretty particular about tomato sauce. We were lucky enough to grow up with a Mom and Grandma who made theirs from scratch. I added some garlic, oregano and basil to this and it made the most delicious sauce for our ravioli. My sister was impressed so I know it was good! Love it! Thank you.

I had to make spaghetti for 45 baseball players! With a little bit of seasoning and some ground beef, the sauce was a hit! (No pun intended.) Definitely will be getting more of this.

This is the star of my recipe and my number 1 go to ingredient when making marinara sauce for pasta/spaghetti. It's great with ground meat and/or mushrooms. It makes a huge difference and if I want delicious taking marinara sauce this is the key! My sauce always to taste better with it than without. And substitute store brand tomato sauce just can't compare!

I have a big can of tomato sauce with a code of 2105215720NS19:23E - Is it still good? (I'm thinking its best buy date is May of 2024, but I may be wrong... (I assume 21 is the year it was canned, 05/21 was the day...I ASSUME the commercial cans are good for 3 years, and 5720 is a lot, NS is a plant name/cannery locator, and 19:23E is 7:23 PM Eastern time.
