I grew up with this kind of cream, in another country, remember using it for deep boils, but i really would like to share my experience with Bartholyn Cyst which scared me very much. I had no idea what it was, doctor was not help except saying it might go away, have warm water baths, and online i have seen women going under a knife to get rid of it. I did use and found online Phoebes recipe method, but i remembered ichatamol cream and was so happy to find Prid Cream with Ichtamol. It took a little bit, warm bath sits and massage, and also layers of Prid cream during the day and also when i went to bed. As i did when i was a kid, i tried to really layer it so it sits where its needed, even cover it with something so it sits in the place. It took a week or so maybe 2 but it worked out. I actually cannot speak to the effectiveness of this product because I never used it. I’ve always loved Hyland’s products, trusting that the ingredients are always natural and safe. I ordered prid and was anxious for my child to try it on some persistent acne spots. Before I gave it to her, I just happened to glance at the ingredients and much to my surprise, it contains petrolatum which is very toxic and I never use for anyone in my family. So very disappointing!!

I ran to the store and tested this on my own skin, depending on how big and stubborn it sits underneath you May have to reapply it, but I felt results Fairly quick , The pain and inflammation going down And the drawing affects of it, pulling the impurities to surface so that I could extract appropriately without having to perform a mini surgery on myself! Since then, I have this in my medicine cabinet in my purse because it has multiple uses cut scrapes and grown hair and boils,! And more because it’s effective and affordable and it’s also multi use so if you camp, Spend time outdoors have children. This will definitely definitely help.

I've been using Prid on a regular for at least 12 years and it works wonders on everything! Infected cuts, infected burns, even sinus infections (if swabbed up the nose or applied to your forehead). I can't believe more people don't use this product. I'd be lost without it, and I make sure to always have a new one in my medicine cabinet.

I had a terrible ingrown hair that turned into a giant boil that would not come to a head for weeks and was super sensitive to touch and of course was right on my bikini line so it was constantly causing discomfort. I finally went to the hospital and had it drained costing me a decent amount of money at the time but I finally was rid of it. Come like 3 months later and I have the exact same issue in another area causing me even worse pain. Somehow I brought it up in conversation with my dad and he told me about prid and how I should at least give it a try first. When I say it was draining and feeling 1000% better within 3-4 days I'm not kidding. That was nearly 10 years ago and I will always keep some on hand now just in case.

I love to use this for ingrown hairs on my bikini line. It takes the redness out quickly and the inflammation goes down. Within a few days you can't even tell the ingrown hair problem existed!

This sauve is the best thing in the world right now to me. I had a painful really painful boil on my vagina. Went to the Dr. To get it lanced but sent me home with antibiotics. I couldn't walk sleep or go to work because of the pain and swelling. I applied PRID as soon as I got it laid down for an hour or and woke it had burst. Oh my God what a relief. I will swear by this stuff it really really works for boils. Thank you PRID.

Seems to have diminished the itchiness from contact dermatitis. Would rather it not be so gummy in consistency- it is challenging to apply.

You might need to have some patience. It took about 4 days to get what I think was a boil to open and drain, and even like 3 days later it’s still draining. But I had a lump for like a year and this finally kicked it. It works, period. Everyone should have this in their medicine cabinet.

My mom was bit by a Brown recluse spider, under doctors orders she administered PRID to her bite everyday as well as taking medication prescribed by her doctor. The bite, which looked like a hole in her leg from the poison, healed over on time with no complications!

Wonderful product in awful packaging. Trying to remove the very tight lid is an exercise in futility. You will need an anger management course after attempting to open this container.

My daughter had a large painful boil under her arm. So painful that she couldn’t sleep. Within 1 day, 3 applications the boil came to a head and bust on its on! The best!!!!

I almost gave up on this after reading so many reviews that said the boils popped overnight. I was getting really discouraged for a boil in a very unpleasant area and almost went to the doctor. Day 2 of using Prid, there was a small head, but the morning of Day 3 it looked like the head went away and the pain was unbearable. I told my husband I couldn't take it any more and was going to the doctor the next day because this stuff wasn't working. That night I went to bed and slathered Prid on a bandage really thick, thinking maybe I wasn't using enough. The next morning (Day 4) the head was back, and by mid-day the boil had finally popped! So for me it took 4 days but was still much quicker than if I had just waited it out with warm compresses, and a better alternative to having it lanced in my opinion. Recovery time was quicker too, just kept a bandaid on it with a small amount of Prid and after two days it was closed.

Those no siem bites seem to last forever. Tried PRID last year and in a couple days no more itch. Works on mosquito bites too
