Description

Q: Does this help to calm dogs

A: The White Noise Machine was not tested or intended for animals so I cannot answer this for you. If you are leaving your dog alone, my personal experience (recommended by a professional dog trainer) is that any consistent background noise (music, T.V.) helps to keep them calm as it drowns out outside noises.

A: It has white noise and about 25 other sounds like heart beats, crickets, rain, ocean, camp fire, wind etc. Plus 3 types of yoga soundtracks and 3 alpha wave tracks.

A: It has a built in rechargeable Lithium ion battery, it last a long time on a single charge, and is very portable it come with the USB cord for charging.

This sound machine was reasonably priced and if you don;t want something fancy does the job! I typically can't sleep without a fan and have switched to a noise machine instead. A must have and i even bought one for my child as well!

I should have read the reviews better! Turns off randomly through the night if I don’t reset the timer. I’ve found that if I press the timer button until it resets itself it’ll last the full 14 hours it says it’ll run for. But if I forget and just simple turn on the machine it will only stay on an hour or so. Overall I like it but I believe it faulty when it comes to the timer saying “default 14 hours.”

Constantly turns off at random intervals no matter if it’s charged or still plugged in. It’s supposed to last 14 hours if you don’t set a timer but it will randomly turn off after 1 or 2 hours.

The sounds are ok but sound suspiciously similar to the sounds available on a free white noise app I’ve used for years (you have to buy the app to get access to better quality sounds), so it did the job, but wasn’t impressive sound wise. The light feature is cool, but was unnecessary for my purposes. I gave it one star because four out of five nights it shut off randomly at least once during the night even though I double checked beforehand that the timer was set to play all night long. Each time it shut off it works wake my husband and I defeating the purpose of the machine. I plan to return it because it’s obviously defective. I had read another review with a similar problem and thought it might be a one off situation, but now I’m not sure.

This was great for the first week but unfortunately, it has had issues lately with shutting off in the middle of the night (causing distruptive sleep). The timer function is set to off so it should stay on for 14 hours but nope…it cuts off randomly, waking me and my wife up in the process.

The product works great. I love it. And it has a long battery life. It does everything it says it's going to do, but I was very disappointed to see that the machine had scratches and marks all over it and I just bought it a couple hours ago. It's supposed to be brand new, but it looks like it was used and just re-packaged, which is disappointing to say the least. I don't want to be the type of customer that opens something up before buying it but that's what I feel tempted to do if I want to ensure the quality of the product I might be purchasing.
