The biggest difference is the Ecocool Latitude 52qt Cooler is made with recycled materials, while the Latitude 52qt Cooler is not. A: Hi Embee - thanks for reaching out with your question regarding the Igloo Latitude 52qt Cooler! Ice retention with coolers can be a little tricky. How long this cooler can keep ice frozen for is dependent on many variables, such as how much ice you put in it, what the temperature is of the items you put in the cooler, how many times you open/close the cooler, etc. If you fill up the cooler with ice & keep it closed, this cooler can hold ice for up to 3 days. But if you only use minimal ice & open/close the cooler many times, your ice will melt quicker. Hope this helps to answer your question!

One of the handles keeps popping out of place when carrying, very poor design for something that is heavy when full. If you’re keeping it stationary, it’s fine, but if transporting often then would not recommend. Two 18lb ice bags will fill it up about 2/3 of the way for drinks.

I needed a cooler big enough for my freezer stash of milk to fit in while we were moving states. I loved the color of this one so I wanted to give it a try. I packed this cooler full of frozen milk and then used frozen vegetables and ice packs to keep it cold. It made it 17 hours in the car and was STILL FROZEN when we arrived and I didn’t have to use ice at all. We’ve since used it for actual drinks and it’s kept cold very well. Highly recommended! Picture of one of my dogs using it as a head rest lol

Varying handle pops out loose after first use. Lid crack at hinge. Doesn’t hold ice as long. Compare to another cooler different brand ice gets water down faster.

I was so excited to see the price on this because they can be really expensive. I think it’s really cute and I love the color. But I don’t think I’ll be buying another one that doesn’t have the valve to drain the water. Or specifically, I won’t buy another one this big without an easier way to drain the melted ice.

Most coolers are either too deep or narrow. This one is actually wide enough on the bottom to fit to rows of store bought rectanglar containers, piled high. I used this box to transfer cooked gluten free meals, and it fit so well that I only needed one. Previously I used two smaller but taller ones.

Hello BP coolers need to be prepped before use. If the cooler is stored in garage or attic, bring inside at least a day before use. Use a sacrificial bag of ice to cool the insulated walls before loading the cooler with ice, drinks, and food. Fill with ice and limit the times opened and closed.
