Used for the first time on a 2 day, 3 night fishing trip with daytime temps in the high 80s. Contained 9 beverage cans and 4 1-quart sized plastic containers. I also used several "blue ice" packs. Cooler running during 3 hour drive, then disconnected and placed in shade with wet towel. Plugged in and running again for 15 minutes next morning. Food, beverages and "ice" packs stayed very cold and some water ice in zip lock bag remained frozen for 2 days. The Versatemp performed flawlessly.

The cooler itself works great, but the cord is very thin. I feel like it is more susceptible to damage. The cord on the older Thermoelectric Cooler cord is much thicker, more like an extension cord thickness. Having the cord attach into the top is an improvement. I am a truck driver and this cooler runs 24 hours, 6 days a week. The previous model has lasted five years and is still running. I bought this model to be able to carry more food without taking up too much space.

Bought this unit and have taken it on a cross country road trip. Good capacity and keeps the drinks and food cool. Only missing a 110v converter for taking into hotels.

Got this cooler for a road trip in November, we’ll see how it performs. I tested it and it will cool down to about 47F in a 75F room. designed in the Us, but made in China.

I bought this cooler to have it in my truck. Is it ok to keep the cooler running "cooling" all the time or it is recommend to turn it off after each work day??

Top heavy so it tips over and the handle can pick fingers. That said it chills much faster than advertised when temps are not too hot. We’ll have to see when temps are in the 80’s-90’s.
