Q: Does this cooler only drop the temp from the surrounding ambient temp? Say it is 90 degrees out, how cold will this cooler keep things and at what temp? Thank you...

A: When the cooler is plugged in, the thermoelectric cooling module cools contents to 40 F or 4 degrees Celsius.
