PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Don’t not purchase this product. It will fry your battery on your switch. Not even a week with it and my battery got fried from it. It does not charge. I usually don’t write reviews but it’s not worth purchasing this product and purchasing a new switch.

I ordered this as a temporary replacement for my current Nintendo Switch dock, and it does not work. Don't waste your time nor money on this hunk of plastic.

I bought this dock to connect to my Samsung widescreen monitor. I bought the required/recommended charger cord for it and use HDMI cable to the monitor. For the first month or so, it worked great. Using the HDMI button in back, it was able to switch to video on monitor. However, like a lot of reviews on another major shopping site, it just stops working. It's charging the device but the video link is not working. Nothing I do can get it to show up on the monitor again. Not sure why, but it seems to be systemic with this device according to review. Too bad as it seemed to be a great price compared to the official Nintendo dock.
