Description
The Intex 2100 GPH Above Ground Pool Sand Filter Pump w/ Auto Timer (Model #26645EG) provides cool, refreshing, clear water, and less hassle every swim season.
If you are tired of buying and replacing pool filter cartridges, this filter is the one for you. With virtually no maintenance, your sand pump only needs replacement every five years.
This sand pump features a powerful motor, 6-function control, and a built-in automatic timer. It meets the UL standards and is an excellent upgrade to the filter cartridge system on your Intex Above Ground Swimming Pool (Easy Set, Metal Frame, and Ultra Frame up to 12,800 gallons).
This package also includes the Intex Krystal Clear Saltwater System. Its unique 2 stage technology uses an E.C.O. (electrocatalytic oxidation) process in which water molecules are split into highly powerful oxidants. Next, the amount of chlorine generated by this saltwater system is greatly reduced, which results is clean water without the potential harsh side effects of packaged pool chemicals. It requires a filter pump with a flow rate between 700 to 3,000 gallons per hour and is for use with a maximum pool size of 15,000 gallons so it pairs perfectly in this set.

I’ve had time to try it out in our new pool and it works great. We have a 13,000 gallon pool and this is more than sufficient for it.

This saltwater system has helped me in maintaining and keeping my above ground pool crystal clear. It has helped me save a little time from having to clean my pool all the time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Guys….if your kids love swimming and you don’t want to pay for an underground pool, get an intex and add this saltwater filter! It makes your skin feel amazing. So much easier than chlorine! My daughter always has itchy burning eyes with chlorine, we hate the smell and the way it makes our skin feel. This eliminates ALL of those issues!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately it is wintertime in the rocky mountains so I can’t test this right now, but it looks super efficient and worth the price tag. It was shipped in a sturdy box with lots of supporting materials. The tubing and plastic is durable and well made. The specifications also show that it can be used versatilely in many different sized pools. I plan to update my review when we can actually set it up in summertime, but so far this looks amazing! Also it has a two year limited warranty from Intex.

This is a great item, and it is made for above ground pools, and uses salt to clear your pool water. To the filter water you simply add salt, then you simply connect to your filter pump with included hose on this device! The rest is automatic; the de solved salt molecules passes through the electric cells, where they get split and turn into chlorine as chlorine tends to kill bacteria, then the system with this machine, reverts back the chlorine into salt, leaving your above ground swimming pool water fresh and clean. This machine also has easy and simple digital control and timer for easy scheduling. We instantly put this machine into work. What I saw and noticed was the clarity of the water inside the pool! A++++

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm glad I had the opportunity to try this because for the past couple of months I've been considering getting a filter for our above ground pool. There was always sludgy algae on the bottom and I rarely trusted swimming in it. After using this the water looked like a public pool, clear as day and clean. My skin wasn't irritated as it sometimes gets with a lower quality filter. I am so glad I got this and recommend it. Worth the buy in my opinion.
