Intex 26645EG 2100 GPH Above Ground Pool Sand Filter Pump with Automatic Timer

It came missing two pieces. I emailed intex support over one month ago with zero response.

Trash don’t buy less than a year pool is a beach won’t stand by there products cause they now there garbage!

This filter does not have a rinse setting-this means that after a backwash, (with no option to rinse) sediment from the sand flows back into your pool. To avoid this, we have to remove the that returns the water back into the pool and let the sediment out- it works but it’s a big hassle. Another issue is the drain cap (to remove for a backwash) is made of a cheap material and actually cracked after less than 2 months of use. This filter also includes cheap, plastic hose clamps that will break. With these inconveniences, the filter runs well and my water has been clean. I would never again purchase a sand filter that does not offer a rinse setting. Next time, I will do more research before making a purchase.

After just a year this broke right in neck at filter and motor and there no replacement housing available now I need to find 200 or to replace a motor

I can not get it to quit leaking from where the leaf basket connects to the motor. I've ordered new O-ring gaskets and hope that fixes my problem but it being brand new I shouldn't have had to replace them already!!

BOX SAYS FLOW RATE 2150 On the pump itself it says 1600 I took apart the one I had and RETURNED IT, then bought a new one because 1600 won't power my pool vacuum. Well description on the BOX and the website is WRONG. 14 inch sx2800 FLOW RATE 1600

This was great for the first 90 days. Of course after it was not returnable it would just completely stop working! We are so devastated because we paid close to $500 for this and now its marked down to $299. You would think a pump like this would last longer than 90 days.

Set up was super easy and system is very powerful.
