The iOttie Auto Sense is an advanced, automatic clamping, wireless charging car mount designed to maximize convenience and power on the road.
Mount smartphones instantly thanks to the auto-sensing feature which is powered by a proximity sensor. Simply place the device near the mount cradle to engage a servo motor and the arms will automatically close to secure the device. A reflective sticker is included for use on black or matte finish phones and cases to enhance device detection.

Barely provides any current. I track the milliamps via Accubattery on my Android and no matter what apps I'm using, if the screen is on, I actually end up losing charge with this charger. I've checked all the connections, everything is plugged in correctly, my case is not even that thick, and for whatever reason it's just not powerful enough to actually add electricity to my battery. Very disappointing.

It charges reliably but the feet at the bottom are too short. If I don't tilt it back the phone will eventually fall forward even with the grips on the side trying to hold it. Otherwise it works great with my iPhone 13.

I bought this mount after years of good experiences with iOttie but I have to say I was a little let down with this product. My expectations might have been unrealistic or misinformed but after using this mount for 2 days with my iPhone 15 Pro with Google Maps and the phone's battery is not being charged, the mount can barely maintain the charge the phone has. I was expecting more but I am very disappointed.

While the wireless charging is still working when using apps such as Google Maps, to navigate (plus streaming music or running other apps), your phone will be working pretty hard and using power faster than it can be replenished. Adjusting the mount cradle feet may be worth adjusting to ensure your phone makes a good, sweet spot connection. We would like to assist you in resolving any performance-related issues. I love this charger it's solid and sturdy The auto sensor works great However the charging cable has now gone out twice 3 months after I bought it the company replaced the 1st one with no problems and 3 months later the replacement cable cut out too I have now just replaced it with a regular microUSB cable

The other dash charging one is great. But this auto sense one isnt ever at that level, Set this one up and it dosent even work. I even tried other people phone and it didnt work with them ethier. I love the other one so this is really disappointing.

The Auto Sense Mount is compatible with Qi-enabled wireless smartphones, so unless there is a defect, it sounds as though there may be a sweet spot connection issue. The mount cradle feet can be adjusted into 3 positions for precise alignment, and this usually resolves connection issues. I was a little nervous getting this considering the price which is a little bit more on the expensive side. But honestly it’s totally worth it, you don’t wanna cheap out on a car phone mount because what will end up happening is it’ll keep falling off or it will charge your phone super slow and you’ll have to end up buying another one. I would definitely recommend this one even if the price is a little bit more on the expensive side. I will say your phone will bounce a little bit on the freeways but it has never fallen out or fallen off. And it’s one of the nicest car mounts/phone holder/charger i’ve ever had, so if you got the coin I would get it!!

The mount sticks well to my dash of my 2019 Prius Prime. I really didn't have an idea placement for the mount, but the best place for me was on the center of my dash, however, it does block some of the car panel warning lights on the right side. It could have also been mounted on the far left of the dash to have prevented any panel light blockage, but then the cord to plug in the cigarette lighter is just below my center console and so the cord would have ran across my steering wheel. And I also feel placing in the center of the console (vs the far left) was better for driving safety for me personally. I actually don't need the charging feature for everyday driving, but the charging feature would be useful when I am on a road trip or any commute longer than 2 hours. Therefore, I only plug my charging cord to the mount for any 2+ hour commute.

I use it for trips and it keeps my phone in sight. It was easy to set up but couldn't get the charger to work. I didn't need the charger anyways. I needed it for travel purposes. I can see where I'm going and watch the maps much easier. I would definitely recommend that you check it out and if need the charger then make sure it's compatible with your phone.
