Since it was named “cookie and cream” I was expecting (hoping?) for some cookie bits or chocolate chips in there, which there weren’t. But it’s still a good cookie taste. It blended well when I made a protein smoothie with more cookies and ice cream. There was still a protein taste but I enjoyed the flavor. And it’s a great value for that much protein powder in the bag! There’s a scoop included as well.

These protein powders always just taste chalky to me.. the mixability is good and I will say that it’s effective. I need to have a decent amount of protein in a day and this does get the job done, but I’m trying to figure out what to mix it with to get rid of the chalky texture.

I mixed with just water to get a true sense of the flavor and man it was gross. It immediately tastes very sour and tangy, not how you would imagine cookies and cream to taste. I don’t think mixing with almond milk or something else would help. The aftertaste is a little better than the initial drink, but yuck. I threw away the pack after 2 sips.

This doesn’t have a weird texture nor odd after taste. The macros on this are pretty good in my mid-level knowledge on macros. I don’t find this protein powder to be too sweet. My fiancée enjoys it too!

I am always on the hunt for proteins that have low carb and low sugar content. This one fits the bill! While it is still going to have that slight protein powder flavor, this one is easily disguised when added to foods or shakes. I'd recommend!
