Its rugged design is both stylish and durable, ideal for on-the-go use. The battery life is excellent, lasting several hours on a single charge. The only downside is its weight; it’s a bit bulky to carry around. Overall, a fantastic speaker that combines portability with great audio performance!

Bought this a few weeks ago. Sounds amazing. The sound is amazing compared to all my other portable speakers. Clear audio and can be so loud. It’s been loud enough to be out during a sailing day or louder than a tractor engine. It really is amazing. It is a bit pricey for speakers of this range but it is worth it. For any watersports people it’s waterproof, AND IT FLOATS!

I just got it yesterday and it can make noise for the whole car. You can hear a little bit of it if you are outside the car door is closed which is honestly impressive to me. My friends have told me that there is more bass in this model of Extreme, if you haven't owned a midsize speaker I would definitely pick this one over the Extreme 3 and that's coming from someone who owned the 3. Great battery life also.
Awesome speaker!

I have had my extreme 4 for approximately one month and the sound just amazes me. The speaker has the deep rich signature JBL sound that JBL speakers are known for. The louder the speaker the better it sounds, my football tailgates are so much better with this speaker!

I bought this as an outdoor speaker to put on my lanai. I was a little disappointed because when it arrived and I had unpacked it I noticed that there is white marks on the black rubber surrounds of the speakers. Not sure if this was caused by the material that was used to pack but i have tried to remove the white marks but have not been able to.

The JBL Xtreme 4 has been an absolute game-changer for our camper van adventures. Its compact size is perfect for the limited space in our van, making it easy to store without taking up much room. But don’t let its smaller dimensions fool you—this speaker packs a punch when it comes to sound quality. The audio is rich and well-balanced, with deep, thumping bass and crisp, clear highs that can easily fill our entire van, and even beyond when we're outside. One of the standout features is its rugged design. The JBL Xtreme 4 is built to withstand the elements, which is crucial for our outdoor lifestyle. It’s waterproof and dustproof, so we never have to worry about it getting damaged during our travels. The battery life is impressive too, lasting us through long road trips or several days of camping without needing a recharge. Overall, the JBL Xtreme 4 has been the perfect addition to our camper van. It’s a powerful, durable, and portable speaker that enhances our experience wherever we go. Whether we’re chilling by the campfire or on the move, this speaker ensures we always have our favorite tunes with us. Highly recommended for anyone seeking quality sound on the go.

The JBL Xtreme 4 is like the Swiss Army knife of portable speakers – it’s rugged, loud, and ready for adventure. If you’re planning to hit the beach, mountains, or just a remote spot in the wild, this speaker's got you covered. First, it’s built like a tank with its waterproof and dustproof design (IP67 rating), so whether you're caught in a rainstorm or dropping it in sand, this thing will survive. Second, the battery life is an impressive 30 hours – enough to power your tunes for an entire day or even through a long night of questionable campfire karaoke. Lastly, it doubles as a power bank, so when your phone inevitably dies from all those selfies, the Xtreme 4 can keep you powered up. In short, the JBL Xtreme 4 is like bringing a party to the wilderness – only this time, you don’t have to worry about running out of juice, drowning it in the lake, or accidentally stomping on it. Perfect for anyone who loves traveling but refuses to compromise on sound quality, volume, or their need to charge everything at once!

This is a great travel companion, we recently spent time travelling around Scotland and wanted a speaker to keep us company while we move about, so it had to be something easily portable which this one is. We went with a black coloured one which is a lot seeker in my opinion and the sound, which is the most important part is a. Gazing, especially in a wide open space where you would think the sound would get lost, but it just doesn't. Battery was a concern for us too, but in the whole trip we only charged it once which is amazingly good battery considering the usage time.

I liked the JBL Xtreme 4 speaker for several compelling reasons. Firstly, its sound quality is exceptional; the combination of powerful bass, clear mids, and crisp highs creates an immersive listening experience. The robust audio performance is perfect for both indoor and outdoor settings. The speaker’s rugged build, ensures it’s both water and dust-resistant, making it ideal for various environments and adventures. I also appreciate its impressive battery life, which lasts up to 15 hours, allowing for extended use without frequent recharges. The addition of Bluetooth 5.3 enhances connectivity, offering a stable and seamless connection with my devices. The USB-C port for charging is a modern touch that adds convenience. The sound quality and durability make the JBL Xtreme 4 a worthwhile and highly enjoyable investment.

Review of JBL Xtreme 4 Portable Speaker

The JBL Xtreme 4 is a seriously impressive portable speaker that delivers on all fronts. Here’s a breakdown of what makes it worth considering: Sound Quality The first thing you’ll notice with the JBL Xtreme 4 is the massive sound it produces. Thanks to its two woofers, powerful drivers, and dual JBL Bass Radiators, the audio is dynamic and really immersive. The bass is deep enough to satisfy anyone who loves bass-heavy tracks, but it doesn’t overwhelm the mids and highs, so all kinds of music sound great on it. I listen to a lot of pop, pop-punk, and metal, and this speaker handles it all perfectly. Whether it’s the punchy beats of pop, the driving riffs of pop punk, or the heavy drops in metal, the sound is consistently clear and powerful. It feels like the music surrounds you, making it easy to get lost in your favorite tracks. Battery Life One of the standout features is the 24-hour battery life, which is pretty amazing for a speaker that pumps out this much sound. It’s perfect for long days out in the garden or extended listening sessions without needing to recharge. And if that’s not enough, the Playtime Boost gives you an extra 6 hours of playtime, which is super convenient when you’re away from a power source. Portability and Design The JBL Xtreme 4 is built with portability in mind, making it ideal for both outdoor and indoor use. The shoulder strap is a nice touch, letting you carry it over your shoulder or as a crossbody, depending on what you’re feeling. Even though it’s rugged and durable, it still looks sleek and stylish, so it’s not just functional—it looks good too. I primarily used a JBL Clip speaker for listening to music, which I really liked for its convenience and portability. However, the Xtreme 4 is a massive upgrade in terms of sound quality. The difference is night and day. Where the Clip was great for casual listening, the Xtreme 4 brings a whole new level of depth and power to my music, especially with the genres I love. The waterproof and dustproof design of the JBL Xtreme 4 is a big plus for me. I often use it outside in the garden, where it’s exposed to the elements, and even in the bathroom when I’m having a shower. Knowing that it can handle a bit of water splashing or dust from being outdoors gives me peace of mind. I don’t have to worry about it getting damaged if it gets a bit wet or dirty. Conclusion All in all, the JBL Xtreme 4 is a beast of a portable speaker. It offers awesome sound quality, impressive battery life, and rugged durability. The extra features like AI Sound Boost and Playtime Boost make it even better. If you’re someone who loves great sound and needs a speaker that can keep up with your adventures—or just bring your music to life whether you're in the garden or the bathroom—the JBL Xtreme 4 is definitely worth checking out.

The JBL Xtreme 4 speaker is a powerhouse of portable audio, delivering an outstanding listening experience. From the moment you turn it on, you’ll be impressed by its perfect sound quality. The audio is clear and balanced, with rich highs and a deep bass that brings your favorite tracks to life. Whether you're indoors or outside, the sound remains immersive, making it ideal for any setting. One of the standout features is the AI Sound Boost, which automatically optimizes the audio depending on your environment, ensuring you always get the best possible sound. Whether you're hosting a party or relaxing by the pool, this feature adjusts the audio output for optimal performance. The Xtreme 4’s waterproof design is another highlight, making it perfect for outdoor adventures. You can take it to the beach, pool, or even out in the rain without worrying about damage. This durability is complemented by an impressive 24 hours of playtime, allowing you to enjoy music all day without needing to recharge. Overall, the JBL Xtreme 4 is an excellent choice for those who demand perfect sound, deep bass, and a waterproof build in their portable speaker.
Unbelievable sound quality

I got The JBL xtreme 4 about a week ago and it is unbelievable. I have been using a cheap model of Bluetooth speaker for approx 2 years and have been getting by just fine with it but I thought I would try something a little different just to see if I was actually missing out. And oh my god was I missing out. There’s no comparison between my old speaker and the JBL xtreme 4. The sound quality is unbelievable and the bass is deep. The Bluetooth speaker is incredibly easy to set up and connect to, takes about 30 seconds from unboxing. It has been excellent in the hot weather we have had for keeping everyone entertained at bbqs. The battery life is amazing it seems to run on forever without needing a charge and has a great power save built in feature. It comes with a handy carry strap and doesn’t weigh a great deal making it easy to take places with you.
Very powerful punch for the size of the speaker

This packs a very powerful punch for the size of the speaker itself. When it turned up, i could immediatly feel the weight that you ususally only feel from a decent quality product, so i knew that it would be better than my previous speaker, but immediatly after connecting it to my phone, i got that smirk on my face as i turned up the volume to max...before turning it down quickly before i shook the windows out of their frames. It feels like you could take it on a trek around the Scottish mountains and come back down to a speaker still looking brand new, so it's robust and easy to carry due to having a rather comfortable strap with it too. We got the black model of it which i think is a nice sleek finish and the buttons are easy to press even when your hands are cold and wet.
