The unit features Bluetooth connectivity, a built-in speaker with accent lighting and an FM radio. The unit includes a built-in solar panel for charging the internal battery and an LED flashlight, so it’s perfect to have if the lights go out. The unit also includes an emergency 1A USB charging port for charging your smartphone, and auxiliary input jack for connecting an additional audio source, and USB flash drive slot for MP3 playback. The JEP-175 comes with a telescopic antenna and USB cord for charging the unit using your cell phone charger.

A: Hi Recommendat, thanks for reaching out about JENSEN Portable Bluetooth Rechargeable Speaker with Built-in Emergency USB Charging Port FM - Red The manual for this does mention that if the battery is completely drained, it may require very long exposure to direct sunlightin order to charge the battery using the solar panel. You will want to put it in direct sunlight and make sure the solar panel is facing the sun. If the sunlight is strong enough there will be a red LED light come on to indicate it is charging.
