This bacon is trash! The strips were so thin I could barely get them apart. Some of the pieces tore apart just getting them out of the package. The bacon was chewy, rubbery, mostly fat and not crispy. I will never buy Jimmy Dean bacon again. I literally threw it in the trash! I specifically bought it because Jimmy Dean used to be a good brand.

I tried Jimmy Dean bacon for the first time and it will be the last. The hickory smoked bacon was sliced so thin that when I pulled the strips apart it came off in pieces. I had to cook 2 strips together for any type of substance. The flavor was mediocre at best. I will be returning the unopened second package today.

This bacon is very fatty and hard to separate slices. Imagine as I was trying to separate I found a long white bone. As I was examining further I found bones of different sizes all through the bacon. I will take this back to the store as It is unfit to eat. I wanted your company to know as I’m sure it isn’t just in one package.

Our household loves the jimmy Dean brand bacon. We always have a stock of this bacon on hand. Little tip after you cook your bacon save the grease and cook your fired potato’s or hash browns it perfectly flavors them .

This bacon was advertised as “hickory smoked” so I figured it would have notes of wood when eating it, but to me it just tasted like a solid bacon. Again, this bacon was good but just did not strike me as a unique product.
