If you are between a medium and a large, sizing can be tricky - I find the Jockey brand tends to run larger on the large size (there isn't any overlap between Medium and Large).     [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These boxer briefs have a very interesting design with the double layer mesh pouch. Other Jockey versions of this have the mesh on the sides of the pouch. This is definitely makes them cooler during workouts and sweaty backyard days. They stretch nicely but don't lose their shape over the day. The pouch is big enough not to be constricting, but not so big that it loses its supporting purpose. Each garment washed well, didn't shrink and didn't separate at the seams. None of the seams are in a location that causes chafing which I appreciate a lot. The main problem is that while the mesh pouch keeps you cool, it kind of defeats the purpose of a double layer pouch. Full cotton or non-mesh pouches contain the left-over moisture after urination. Without realizing this, I found a couple spots on my trousers after using the restroom. The mesh contains nothing. So, yes, it is cooling, but be careful, you may show more than you wanted to. Other than that, they are true to size and comfortable for all day wear and to bed.

I love the micro mesh material keeps me cool. Keeps everything in place while doing physical activities like running and hot yoga class. I really like that the pouch area is double lined. I could wear these boxer briefs everyday. They are so comfortable. I feel that for a shorter guy the length is perfect not too long nor too short, mid thigh is perfect. The only thing I would say is to size up. They run a bit small. I’m a size small but a medium would have been perfect.

The pouch gives you room where you need it while still being supportive. After 2 washes the waist is still intact and the fabric hasn’t deteriorated. I like that they use recycled polyester.

Many of Jockey’s offerings are sold as singles, so often the 3-packs are more cost-effective I’m used to the Cotton Performance Midway Briefs, and these compared favorably to those. The fabric is thin and lightweight, feeling like it almost wasn’t there against your skin. The crotch is made into a pouch to keep the boys away from your thigh, so much fewer awkward stretches to de-couple parts of yourself from your leg. I’d assume this would also help with chafing, but I can’t say, as I tried these out in the winter and haven’t used these in the humidity of the south. The fly doesn’t have a hole to pee through, so if that’s a dealbreaker for you, I’d look elsewhere. Doesn’t bother me, as I’m not a subscriber to that method. They also seem very similar to the expensive “travel” undies that you wash in the sink and dry overnight in your room, though I haven’t tried them that way. Provided these work well in the heat of the southern US summer, I’d wholeheartedly recommend these.
