A: The Rue car seat does not allow for a vehicle seat protector under the car seat. You can use a thin towel if needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Joie Rue car seat to try in exchange for my honest review. I was so excited to have the opportunity to try the Joie brand bc I had heard nothing but positive feedback in all my baby research, and I can confirm, this car seat was great! The Rue is super lightweight and simple. The fabric looks and feels nice. The base includes an anti-rebound bar and the car seat includes infant inserts (which we did not need) and a 5-point harness. We connected the base using the LATCH connectors and were happy to find a video showing the install. The only downsides I have with this carseat are that the harness has to be rethreaded manually and I wish that it was easier to loosen/tighten the straps for getting baby in/out but for a simple lightweight car seat these inconveniences are minor and purely convenience features. HIGHLY recommend!

Easy to lift out of the base and fit my car perfectly. I would recommendend this carseat for your little one over many others because I have owned 2 carseat in this brand, and with my second baby, it is still in great condition. Safety is top-notch, too!Highly recommended!

Bought this for my expectant granddaughter. Happy we found this company. I was excited to receive this car seat since it was hard to find a quality affordable car seat in a nice shade of pink. I love the color and how light the seat is.
