My 1 year old pulled the cabinet open in one try despite these being installed. They fell off the cabinet door and despite multiple attempts at attaching they didn’t hold.

These locks are on everything. Are they annoying to unlock? Yes. But are they strong enough to keep baby out? Oh yes. No pinched fingers, no rearranging my cabinets, just stick the lock on and continue life as usual. Incredibly easy to install. STRONG adhesive (though does wear after a couple years, so have some backups). Plenty of magnets provided if you order the 12-pack.

They do NOT work. Avoid at all costs.

Didn't install well, I read directions and the "install tool" was not easy. Snapped for one then never again. It didn't sit right on my cabinets.

Adhesive want strong enough. Directions are unclear. Install tool is junk.

The locks work just okay. The magnet used to unlock the cabinets is pretty weak, so I ended up using a stronger fridge magnet. Keeps my cat out of the food cabinet so I would still recommend it.

So many baby-proofing items just wind up making it even harder on us parents, and aren't even that effective in doing their jobs. These cabinet locks are awesome! And, unlike so many others I've tried--don't have the included risk of me accidentally smashing my finger to unlock (don't laugh, I'm serious!). My ONLY complaint, and it's more about me than the product, but I wish the key magnet was something I could have on me at all times... like made into jewelry or something. I am usually doing 56 things at once, and have found myself setting it down then forgetting where I put it (as there's always a reason something keeps me from putting it where it goes-ha). Oh, and the best part of these, my daughter can't watch me, and figure out how to do it herself. Ha.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter-in-law had all of them installed about 10 minutes after I opened the package. It was THAT easy. Strong hold too. Both with the magnets and the adhesive. It takes a little maneuvering to hear the 'click' to open or close the cabinets but it is so uch easier than the old hinge types that needed screws etc. We were so pleased with these that I ordered more for upstairs. A truly nice feature is that when my toddler grandchildren aren't here exploring grandma's house I can leave these locks in the "Unlocked" position and we don't need the 'key' to open our cabinets. When the tots come back we simply use the locks again. You never have to remove them either down the road. If they are in the opened position no one knows they are there

This product is great! I recommend buying two four packs instead, that way you have two magnet openers for two areas of your home! Just watch the video how to install so you don’t accidentally install it upside down.

Instructions are unclear. Installation tool was useless; all included locks and latches popped out immediately upon being set in installation frame. There's no way it could have worked as described in the instructions. Maybe my installation fram was defective? Doesn't matter. Scrapped tool and measured for placement. But the adhesive would not secure to the wood cabiet door or the the melamine frame; the slightest pressure from closing the door caused the adhesive on both sides to fail and the parts to pop off the cabinet, no matter how long I held the lock in place to try to let the adhesive cure. Finally, even if I could have installed the lock, the magnet did not work through the door. My cabinet doors are solid wood from one of the world's largest, most common cabinet manufacturers. I wish I would have tested the magnet before taking time to try to install it. Just a stupid waste of time.

The JOOL magnetic cabinet locks are super easy to install with detailed instructions and the included install tool-just pop the latch in, peel the backing, press, remove tool and move onto the next one. My oak cabinets have been painted with chalk paint and waxed, no problems with the 3M adhesive securely sticking. The latch itself is completely hidden when doors are shut, and really does stay locked if pulled on without using the cute strong magnet to unlock first-and the magnet stays high up on my fridge(didn't need the included adhesive holder), out of reach but easily accessible to those of us that need in the cabinet. Super easy peasy to unlock with a quick swipe of the magnet, and my favorite part is that the locking mechanism can be disabled with a flick of my finger when little man isn't here...keeps the big man from throwing fits lol. I've had them installed a couple of weeks and I don't see any problem with adhesion or compromise of the lock mechanism. My mind is at ease knowing chemicals and dangerous for the little guy items are tucked away securely -very highly recommended the JOOL Baby magnetic cabinet locks
