Description
The Caboose Graphite Sit Stand Double Stroller is a must-have for parents strolling with children of different ages because it offers double stroller features in a compact size. The Caboose empowers older siblings, and they love riding on the back of the Caboose.
Toddlers get a boost of independence and feel like big kids when they can choose to sit or stand while riding on this tandem stroller. No need to attach an extra riding board as the Caboose has a built-in stand-on platform for kids to stand and ride, or they can sit on the rear bench seat (parents don't need to lift their toddlers in or out of the stroller either).
Parents expecting their second child love that they can create a travel system to carry their toddler and newborn. The Caboose Graphite comes with a universal car seat adapter that has the baby facing towards you and in complete view while strolling. Having both children close can be a lifesaver to help parents keep tabs on both kids.
The Caboose Graphite includes the following upgrades from the previous version: A graphite-colored steel frame, a new 3-position front seat, a larger canopy with an extended visor, linked parking brake and 4-wheel suspension.
Additionally, the Caboose comes with a tray and universal car seat adapter that fits most major brands. Each seat has a capacity of 45 lbs. The minimum age for your older child is 2.5 years.

Good stroller but could be better

Bought this stroller 2 years ago when I had our second child. It works for two children. The front seat reclines back taking space from the second Bench/set. I’ve used it everyday for the past 2 years, and have been hearing the front wheels squeak. It is also difficult to push with two toddlers on dirt. The basket itself on the bottom sags to the floor when putting anything heavier than a toddler sweater. It also lacks a cup holder. In the beginning it was a really good stroller, but as it’s aging it is starting to have issues.

Thank you for your honest feedback. We’re glad the stroller served you well in the beginning, but we’re sorry to hear about the issues as it’s aged. Please reach out to our customer service team!

We're sorry the Caboose didn't work out for you. Maybe give another joovy model stroller with better wheel options a try!

We got this stroller as a gift in 2011 for our 2nd child. It has been used for 5 kids total. Taken to the beach, on several flights, through airports, loaded up with chairs and bags for baseball games and countless walks, to several amusement parks. Best of all it folds up nice and thin to fit in the back of our Honda pilot with the back seats up! I can not say enough about how much I love this stroller and how long it has lasted. It's definitely looking used but still works great!

I needed a double stroller with the carrier seat. On the photos and video that's what it shows. I get the stroller and NO carry. Now I have to return this heavy box. I'm so disappointed!!! I need a double stroller with the seat

We are sorry to hear you are disappointed. The stroller comes with a universal car seat adapter to fit various car seats. The stroller is designed to attach your car seat to it. Please contact us for a list of compatible car seats.

I cannot say enough about this stroller. We have been HARD on it for over two years now! It's been on flights, through Disney, to fairs, countless parks, off-reading, and in trunks (fits great in a Honda CRV), and trailers. I really thought racing down a rough apple orchard hill and getting apples jammed in its wheels would do it in, but no! Icing on the cake, after 2.5 years I had to clean it and it washed up great! Just some seventh gen stain remover, a little scrub brush action, and a hose and it's like new. Sorry no before picture, I didn't think that was something anyone wanted to see. I prefer it to the wagon because you can adjust the sun shade unlike a wagon and it's way more maneuverable. Kids are still loving it at 3 and 5.

All the people saying that the stroller is hard to drive don’t know that you can lock and unlock the front wheels. If you lock the front wheels it feels like pushing a shopping cart but if you unlock them it is way easier to steer and feels like a regular stroller. I am 5’3 and I have a 15 month old and an almost 3 year old and the stroller feels great! Really easy and fast to set up as well.

I have a 8 month old (close to 18 lbs) and a 5 year old (39 lbs). Even when my 5 year old isn't standing on the stroller it is a hard push. It doesn't handle easily due to the style of the frame. the handles are more like pushing a wagon vs a stroller. its a lot more different than I thought it was going to be. also not a off road stroller, I knew that so I wasn't expecting any different. Honestly, I wish I could get my money back just from how the stroller pushes. if no one is in the stroller , the push is way better and it glides like ice. its wonderful.... but the whole purpose of the stroller is to have kids in it. I get that my 5 year old is getting too big for it. My 8 month old isn't near being too big for it, and it still handles hard. would I buy again ? maybe if I found it second hand. I don't want to pay full price . do I wish I could get my money back , YES! is it please to look at , Yes! it is the one I have to keep right now ,because that is what I have my money into

The Caboose has a sturdy four-wheel suspension which can handle unpaved roads, smooth concrete, and short grass. Also, make sure the front wheels are unlocked and in swivel mode.

It’s soooooo heavy. Hard to turn, you always need two hands. When car seat is in it’s even heavier at the front and hard to turn. When car seat is in the caboose is almost unusable. My 3 years old sits hunched forward. there is then no room to hang diaper bags or drink holders if toddler is using the caboose which is already awkward. Functionally it’s like a super heavy single stroller.
1 reply from Joovy_Customer_Support team - 2 years ago
This stroller is 27.5 pounds. It is one of the lightest double strollers on the market. Which double are you comparing to? Which double stroller can you maneuver with one hand? When you add 90 pounds of kids, pushing around with one hand would be wonderful, but it is not realistic. When the car seat is in the front (please remember this stroller comes with the car seat adapter included) it does make the front of the stroller heavier, but that because of the car seat and child. Please remember your older child can still stand and sit backward when the car seat is in use in the front, so we disagree that the stroller is almost unusable with the car seat. We agree that this stroller feels like a heavy single, but it's actually a light double stroller.
Not the right stroller for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stroller is way to low to the ground for baby and hard to maneuver. The leg adjustment for baby also broke on it very easily.

I bought this stroller for my 1year old and 4 year old. This stroller is just so hard to move around. It’s difficult to push and turn. Also the handle is so high and not adjustable. So if your 5ft. Like me it’s even harder to push.

I loved how this stroller looked in the pictures but I have a few wishes for this stroller. I wish the back seat was removable so that I can use the small basket. I wish the basket was bigger. The images made the front seat look wide and overall big which I was it was in actuality. I wish there was a compartment to hold drinks, keys, or phone. Overall the stroller was easy to assemble and fold. My toddler seems comfy in it and I don’t have issues pushing the stroller with my toddler in it. Im not 100% loving it. I wish my local target had more strollers out for display. This would have swayed my decision.

Hi, Joovy makes several models. Perhaps the Caboose Ultralight or RS would be a better fit for your family. Check out the Parent Organizer for your stroller, it has a zippered pocket, two cupholders, and tons of storage space for small items

I love my joovy high chair but I hate this stroller. I wish I could go back and not but it. My feet hit the standing platform when I walk and it’s so hard to turn and push with two kids on it. The basket underneath is completely useless and it doesn’t even have a drink holder.

A little bulky but overall very nice and functional. Sits a bit awkward in trunk of car or suv but kids love it and find it comfortable. Would be nice to have some side hooks for shopping bags and or a way to attach diaper bag to help with the load of traveling with children.

Seat Accessory is Required

Rebecca - 4 years ago, Verified purchaser
This would have 5 stars but here's why it didn't quite make the cut..after putting the stroller together and inserting our Chicco Keyfit infant car seat we had our toddler try it out..he has to stand and there's not really a safe way for him to do that. There's no belt to go behind him which would be a great safety precaution. If you pushed a little too swiftly a tot could easily fall or bump their face. Ordering the $40 seat "accessory" that's necessary for your second child to sit securely..otherwise your child will be hunched over sitting uncomfortably. I would have liked to have known that it requires this seat, now we have to make a seperate order.
1 reply from Joovy_Customer_Support team - 4 years ago
Please note the standing platform and bench seat are rated from 2 1/2 yrs at which point they are able to safely stand and ride as the stroller is being pushed. The bench seat also does provides a 3pt harness.

I've had this for almost 2 years and couldn't love it more. Originally had a side-by-side and it was way too heavy to push. So glad we went to the Caboose. My favorite is that it's the size of a standard stroller but holds 2 kids so I never feel silly pushing it with just 1 in there, which inevitably happens on every outing with 2 kids. Love it.

Excellent Stroller for Transporting 2 Children

Added a new family member recently and needed to upgrade our stroller in order to transport them to daycare. Our 2.5 year old loves to stand while we push him and his new baby sister. We live in the city and my only criticism is that the CSSS does not turn on a dime and does not do so well on uneven surfaces. It gets the job done as well as can be expected, but does take some elbow grease every now and then. Overall - a good stroller that gets the job done.

Great double stroller!

I bought the Joovy Caboose Graphite after having my second child. It’s a great double stroller! It rides smooth, folds up quick and easy plus all the different riding positions were a bonus! My older son loved sitting on the bench or standing. My only thing is you have to purchase another seat for the back. obviously not a problem...But looking at the stroller I thought to myself, it would be amazing if they came out with one that the bench easily removes and the front seat would slide to the back while having the infant seat attached to the front still. To me that idea would be more versatile since the front seat isn’t in use. Of course buy a second seat when you don’t need the infant adapter anymore but that was just an idea I thought of. Lol Other than that I love this stroller! My only negative thing is although it rides smoothly, I did find it hard to push as my kids got older. With my youngest sitting in the front and my oldest standing or sitting it was getting very hard to push and manoeuvre around. Between the two kids they weren’t even at the weight limit and it was getting too hard I ended up putting it away until I found a new home for it. I definitely would recommend this stroller to anyone looking for a double stroller!

We bought this stroller because we needed something a bit bigger. I love that this will work for 2 kids (we currently only have 1 kid) and we like the storage bin underneath. As of now this is perfect size for storage but once we have a second kid on it, I don't know how well the underneath storage is going to hold everything. This pushes very smoothly but is a big heavier than than we expected. Also, I wish it came with cup holders for the parent - you have to buy an attachment.
