Individually handmade of heat-resistant borosilicate glasses, they are designed to keep your liquid hot or cold for a longer period, while keeping your hands cool to the touch, it also eliminates need for coasters as no messy condensation will occur. JoyJolt double wall glasses are mouth-blown by expert artisans using borosilicate glass. Borosilicate is stronger than traditional “soda-lime” glass and can be used for everything from drinkware to cookware. Due to the natural properties of the boron particles, the glass is held together tighter, resulting in a stronger, lighter glass. Borosilicate glass doesn’t need to be as thick as traditional glass to be just as strong due to the bonding capability boron oxide. Your JoyJolt Pila double wall glasses arrive as a set of 2 and holds (10 oz.) each. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used these cups with my coffee so far and they work well. The cup is not hot on the outside and is easy to touch. They are a little smaller than I usually use. There is also a small bubble in the bottom of both of the cups. It seems a little weird but I'm assuming it's part of the design.
