My 3 year old son absolutely loves this big red Trex. It's very hard to get the little dinosaurs out of its stomach so he's coming to me every few minutes to take them out and I have a very hard time getting them out. I gave this to him as a gift for christmas and unfortunately by the next day the foot was already broken.

The packaging design is great. I love the 93' Classic design, it brings me back to my childhood when the original Jurassic Park blew my mind. The real feel rubber is awesome and really makes it feel more like a premium toy, and less cheap. MATTEL has really done a great job respecting the original Jurassic Park/Kenner designs and bringing them back from extinction.

The sound is very good. A costumer said that your son was disappointed that it didn’t have a little Dino in the stomach. It does not come with one. However, I don’t mean to advertise but you can buy them a vast amount of little Dino’s for 20 bucks. They come with humans as well. It also eats Lego Mini figures.

We just opened this as a gift for my son. We purchased based upon reviews. Sadly our dinosaur does not make any sound, even with buying new batteries. That was one of the biggest appeals to this toy besides the ability to playfully swallow tiny dinosaurs.

A nice change of pace from the normally more rigid plastic lineup. The original remains my favorite Christmas present of all time so it was a great feeling handing the remake over to my son.
