Jurassic World Dino Trackers Camouflage 'N Battle Indominus Rex Action Figure

This is a great sized dinosaur with cool sound and lighting features. Fantastic detail. All around impressed with this purchase. At the time of purchase it was on sale for $19.74 which is a steal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JURASSIC WORLD CAMOUFLAGE 'N BATTLE INDOMINUS REX was a real surprise all around. My boys have really be into this one. The size is great in terms of its relationship to other Jurassic World toys they have. It has allowed them to create all kinds of wild scenarios as they mix this up with other toys. The movement is really cool. From the tail, the neck and head can be twisted as well as the mouth opened. I was afraid the teeth might break off during rough play, but they're a slightly softer material that allows for some flexibility. It was a smart move since my kids are jamming all kinds of other figures into the mouth. The camo feature is also really cool. It causes the body of the dino to light up with a green tint to simulate the camo function. All around, this one has been a really satisfying toy that seems to be well built with a lot of great functionality.

Love that you can make it into many different action poses. The movement is almost realistic. The lights and sounds make the toy that much more fun! Also it's light weight for how big it is.

He loved that you can make it look life-like by controlling the dino's head and mouth with it's tail. The growling and light-up belly add to the fun, and he was play-attacking everyone all over the house!

All of these add to the enjoyment and opportunities for imaginative play. Our 2 and 3 year old love dinosaurs and this is an awesome addition to their collection that they play with every day!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year-old son loves this dinosaur! It came packaged well, and I like how its open so you can test it out while in the package. The dinosaur has great detail, from the spikes on it's back to it's scary sharp teeth, and claws on its hands. I love that you can move the arms up and down as well as turn them at the "elbows". The legs also move and feet can be turned. The lights and sounds the dinosaur makes when you push the button on the tail were what excited my son the most. It was easy for him to turn the tail side to side so the dinosaur could chomp at either direction. We also really like the scan code that allowed him to play games on the Jurassic World play app. It was like getting two toys in one! I would definitely recommend this toy dinosaur, as it is realistic, has fun green lights, moves easily, is well build and sturdy, and is a lot of fun to play with. If you don't want your child playing video games the scan code is hidden and since its not a typical QR code, they may nit know what it's for.

He played with a dream playtime inside and outside movements look realistic and it was such a fun thing to have. The fact that I lit up was really fun. The Jurassic World aspect was amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My grandson is obsessed with dinosaurs. His favorite was the T-Rex until he saw the Indomonous Rex. This Rex was based on the new Jurassic World movie. This toy is absolutely amazing! The sculpt is beautiful along with the generous size makes it seem life like. This is THE Dino of Dinos for a kids collection. It lights up in this cool menacing green glow, has marvelous movable parts, a code to scan and has fantastic sounds and a great roar. I was surprised it was reasonably priced. The packaging was top notch and toy arrived in good condition, perfect. My grandson loves it so much and spends many hours playing with it.

The body part movements are impressive. The tail controls the head, which we both think is pretty cool. And it lights up green when he roars which is just an added bonus to the cool factor! If your kid loves Dino's like mine, 10 out of 10 recommend! They will love it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Indominus Rex is an impressive addition to our dinosaur collection. It’s bigger than a lot of the other Jurassic World ones we have, and definitely cooler. It roars and lights up when you press the button on the tail, revealing the camouflage design. It also has the Jurassic World QR code to scan to learn more and see the Dino in augmented reality mode on the app. We’ve bought a lot of dinosaur toys and love the Jurassic World toys the best. They hold up well, have nice details and paint work, and have impressive features and this one seems to follow that pattern.

He has been playing with it a ton and doing different set-ups with his other Dino’s. The body of the dinosaur lights up green when you push a bottom on its back. Its jaw opens and it growls as well. If you turn the tail, its head/neck turns as well. Seems very sturdy, can stand up some with effort.

He really enjoyed the lights and roars that were activated by the push botton on the back. He also loved the realistic feel of the nails on the rex. He has spent hours playing with his dinosaur. The features that connect with jurassic world play app is a plus!! Great toy overall mattel really paid atenttion to detail with the indominus rex!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is always a great appreciation for dinosaurs in this family. As huge Jurassic Park/World fans, additional dinosaur creations are always a bonus. This Indominus Rex is no exception! The construction is solid, with a mixture of softer structures (like the claws of the forelimbs and portions of the hairs on the back of the neck). As expected, for our son, the true selling points are the sounds and, especially, the way that parts of the body light up when the button is pressed on the upper part of the tail. The way that the light “pulses” throughout the body, after the button has been pressed, is another big hit (and it occurs after the sounds). Additionally, the mouth opening, as a result of pressing said button, adds to the emanating sounds for greater accuracy during play (although it has not limited other dinosaur sounds, which have been made by our child without pressing the button). Also, the ability to rotate the neck, by turning the lower portion of the tail, is also an advantageous aspect! While we understand that toys, which provide sound, can be a bit taxing on some individuals – particularly parents, the volume is not too loud that it would be too disruptive, and it is also not of a long duration. The promoted Jurassic World Play app is also engaging. As parents, we tend to limit phone usage, so this concept was not as much of an interest, but it definitely could be a beneficial addition for others. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the quality and durability of this Indominus Rex, and look forward to the adventures that are to come! Thanks, Mattel!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this JURASSIC WORLD CAMOUFLAGE 'N BATTLE INDOMINUS REX for my dinosaur loving kids. This dinosaur toy is pretty big. It measures 21 inches long! It is also made very well and seems to be really durable. The kids love that they could move the articulated limbs during play time. The tail has two different functions. Twisting the tail makes the dinosaur’s head turn from side to side as if it’s looking for prey. Pushing the button on its tail will activate the chomping motion of the dinosaur’s mouth along with the sounds of its roars and the lights on its torso and head. Their favorite feature of this dinosaur is the hidden Tracking Code in its leg. We downloaded the Jurassic World app and the used our camera to scan the code. The app lets the kids see their dinosaur in AR (Augmented Reality). It lets them learn facts about the dinosaurs, keep track of their collection, play games and much more! The kids are really enjoying playing with this dinosaur and have spent a lot of time interacting with it. This would make a fabulous gift for a dinosaur loving kid. My kids have already requested to look for other dinosaurs in this Jurassic World collection.
