[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The color is light shade than my natural beard color, but it blends well with it none the less. I am not sure if it is because this was a sampler or if this is the regular size applicator, but it takes some time and effort to get on. A brush that held more product might be a solution. The feel of the product once it is in my beard is where I start deducting from a better rating. It has a crunch hairspray feel once it dries and i can literally feel it in my beard throughout the day. My wife touched my beard and cringed because it was so rough and unnatural. Clean up is fairly easy, just wash with soap and rinse, I didn't notice any of the dye coming off on any of my clothes but there was definitely less product in my beard after about eight hours of office work so I assume it flaked off or shed somewhere... I would recommend for people who are getting photos or videos and want to have a less grey look. Then they can just wash it out afterward. Long term use throughout the regular day would be uncomfortable and for close social interactions (with a partner say) it isn't ideal just because of its roughness. It has a purpose but i wouldn't consider this for an everyday solution.
