Q: Can this be put on the stove to boil water or are you supposed to boil the water in a separate pot and then fill the kettle with the boiling water to make tea?

Even though you cannot use it on stove top it does keep pre-heated liquids hot. I love using the loose leaf infuser for my teas. Would make a beautiful gift for the tea drinker in your life.

It seems very well-made and a good size. It has a mesh basket inside and keeps the tea hot for pretty long. I am very happy with this product and look forward to keep using it.

Also the removable leaf infuser is awesome, as i don't have to worry anymore about using a strainer. Its heavier than you might think, even that it looks kinda small. The inside coating is another great quality. This size is perfect for my small family of two, and im not sure if this is offered in a bigger size.

The handle came off. It was a good thing It didn’t contain hot liquid, I would have been scalded or worse.

Very pretty and practical. I love the mesh basket that allows me to brew my own teas. Cast iron pot keeps my tea hot for a while!
