INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Place the ASSAM tea press on a flat, heat-proof, non-slip surface
2) Add your preferred tealeaves into the filter. We recommend 2-3 scoops of black tea or 3 scoops of herbal tea for each liter of water.
3) Pour in hot water, ensuring the water stays below the MAX fill line.
4) Place the lid on the pot with the plunge in the raised position, and let your tea brew – 3-5 minutes for black tea, or 5-10 minutes for herbal and fruit teas.
5) Once your tea is at its preferred strength, firmly press the plunger down to stop the brewing process. Serve and savor.

Q: Does this teapot with ia “ wrapped bowl ” version so it doesn’t need a trivet?

Q: Can you also use this to make coffee (using ground coffee) like a french press?

A: We don't recommend using the ASSAM Tea Press for brewing coffee. The press is designed specifically for tea and herbal infusions, and its filter may not handle coffee grounds effectively, potentially leading to excessive sediment. For brewing coffee, we suggest using one of our Bodum French presses. While Bodum French presses are also suitable for tea, they lack the ASSAM's unique features for stopping the steeping process and preserving tea leaves.

Q: can this teapot be heated on a candle lit heater? Can it be heated on the stovetop or Infusion heater? Thank you.

A: Do not place the tea maker on a hot stove or open fire. The pot cannot be used on an induction stovetop and should not be placed on a heated cooktop of any sort.

Great size and easy to use! It takes away the bitterness from the brewed tea. I tried the fruit one tea and it was easy enough to use. You put the tea in the center cylinder, put hot water over and let brew to your satisfaction. Makes brewed tea a breeze Would definitely recommend!

Hey worldwide web users This review is for the Assam brand Tea press. I personally have never used a tea press before but thought this is cute and who doesn’t like tea. I think this tea press is very functional and innovative. It’s very easy to use and I like that you can try and use it with either loose tea leaves or tea bags if you prefer. I’m going to try it with my green matcha tea powder also and see how it does. The design is great it’s small enough to fit anywhere neatly in your kitchen and big enough to get the job done. All you do is put the tea in the filter, add hot water and allow it to step and then use the press and enjoy fresh hot tea. It is also dishwasher safe so also convenient. This is a Demark company that goes back over 70 years so I’d say they know what they are doing. It comes with an instruction booklet and a cute little background about the family owned company.

Love this tea press! It was packaged with bubble wrap in the box around the pot. So no worry’s about it being broken. It’s a perfect size it fits on my coffee maker and I can use the boiling water function to fill it. It’s so light weight. I love making green tea. Then I just let the pot cool completely and I can put it in the fridge and drink all day. Haven’t tried loose tea yet. I plan on it soon.

The Assam Tea Press is very elegant , beautiful and well made quality. The press/filter in the center of the teapot is a great addition to the teapot. It is easy to use and makes delicious tea. Durable and my quests always make compliments how beautiful this tea press is. Would definitely make great present for tea loving people. Highly recommend!

Do you love tea? Then this tea press is for you. I’m a big sweet tea drinker and it’s even better now that I can make my own. This tea press is very easy to use. It is good quality material and will last for many years to come. This is well worth the money!

Love bodum products, I already had two double glass mini cups for my teas and adding the tea press is so much easy to have hibiscus infusion or whatever other tea I like, I just boiled water and add it to the tea press with hibiscus leaves and voila in a few minutes I have my infusion and is delicious! Love the idea that I don't need to filter the infusion. The press is super easy to use and to clean, the stainless steel filter was very easy to clean too. If you are a tea lover you need to buy the bodum tea press, you will love it.

This beautiful tea press is very similar to a French coffee press, this is my first time trying loose leaf tea. Very easy to use, simply add your tea and hot water, steep, then press! You can stop the steep by pressing down the plunger when you reach your desired color and flavor. Easy to clean. It’s dishwasher safe but I’ve only hand washed. Would recommend!

Very nice tea pot. I like the tea chamber and the press! It works similarly to a French press. One thing that is a little annoying is that your water level has to be above where the press compacts the tea at the bottom of the tea chamber. Therefore, the tea is infusing around the side of the chamber rather than all around. However, I really like the tea pot and would recommend it!

I have been loving my morning tea even more after using this beautiful tea press. I like how I can actually press and take full benefits of the tea leaves. It’s so easy to use and clean and it serves a fresh cup every time. The design is so cute and looks perfect on my desk or countertop.

The Assam Tea Press with filter is a great buy! My husband and I have been trying to use more loose leaf tea (vs the bag kind). This tea press was exactly what we were looking for! It looks nice and is easy to clean. And most important of all, it brews tea well!
