A: THIS ITEM IS GARBAGE. IT WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT THE APP. I TRIED TO DOWNLOAD THE APP TO FOUR DIFFERENT DEVICES AND IT JUST WONT DOWNLOAD. I USED AN IPHONE, ANDROID PHONE, 2 TABLETS AND IT WOULD NOT DOWNLOAD THE APP. I TRIED GOODLEPLAY AND THAT DID NOT WORK EITHER. I WILL HAVE TO RETURN IT.

Q: Does this give you blood pressure readings?

A: KardiaMobile does not take blood pressure recordings. But systolic and diastolic blood pressure results can be manually entered into the Kardia app in order to track your Blood Pressure. You can also transfer Blood Pressure recordings via bluetooth to the Kardia app if you have a compatible Omron Blood Pressure cuff.

Advertising does not disclose that device is not usable as a stand alone product. Activating the unit requires requires access to private health information be granted. I returned the unit 10 days ago and am waiting for a refund.

My Kardia came with a nearly dead battery. The printed manual has almost no trouble-shooting information, and there is no battery indicator. So, it took me a few days to think it was a dead battery as opposed to some other problem. There is also no information in the printed manual on changing the battery, so I had to discover this information in the app. Once that was resolved, the device worked well.

This device gives me real-time verification of symptoms i may be having. Being diagnosed with a heart arrhythmia, I can verify that I am having actual arrythmic activity when I feel the symptoms. This has helped me work with my Cardiologist to reduce their occurrence, helping my heart to work more efficiently and not cause additional damage to the heart muscle.

Because I have been dealing with A-Fib and A-Flutter for several years I check it everyday with my KardiaMobil device. It is much more accurate for pulse than my BP machine or my pulse oximeter and will indicate heart rhythm issues that I can relay to my cardiologist. They also have great phone support.

I really like my device. It gives me accurate results in 30 seconds and lets me know my heart is working as it should. I use it every morning and night or when I feel flutters in my chest. It is a good reference for my doctors.

My husbands cardiologist recommend it because he couldn't tell he was in Afib anymore due to another medical issue limiting his mobility. I had never heard of it before then. So glad we purchased it as he had been in Afib. He took the recommend prescription to kick him into normal rhythm but we do a daily check to have peace of mind. So grateful.
