Q: Is this product FDA approved for medical use?
A: Allow me to translate that - NO.
submitted bywacktech2022 - 3 years agoA: The pulse oximeter that we sell in stores and online is for Aviation and Sports use and does not require a prescription. This same model is also sold with FDA registrations for medical use and would require a prescription from a healthcare professional. While both oximeters are the same, one is FDA registered for healthcare professionals (as they require the FDA registration) and the other is sold for aviation and sports use to keep the cost down for the public that would like to regularly check their pulse and oxygen levels, but do not require the FDA registration. -Dr. Talbot's Customer Service

A: Yes, the sticker with the 97 and 84 on it is removable. You can carefully peel it off to view the results more clearly.
