Q: Is this Gluten free ?
submitted by Sad - 11 months ago
A: No, this product is not certified gluten free as it is made in a shared facilities with products that do contain gluten.
submitted byConsumer Care - 9 months agoA: Yes, doesn't contain gluten ingredients. Certified GF is a paid status to have everything tested for lower than the FDA standard GF label requirement, does not correlate to type of facility used. If product says made in facility w/ wheat etc doesn't mean it's made in the same part of facility. Depending on your sensitivity to cross commination, try it

I purchase Crispix cereal on a regular basis. Lately the boxes I purchase are half crumbs. I understand this may happen occasionally. But, lately all the boxes I purchased are crushed. I even tried going to different stores to purchase Crispix to no avail. This leads me to believe the cereal must be leaving the manufacturer in this condition. I enjoy the cereal but looking at alternative products at the moment. Groceries are too expensive to be wasting half my purchase.

I love Crispix but the cereal is crushed. This has been a problem over the past couple of months. I haven’t switched yet, but may if it continues. Fortunately I eat it dry, but if I used milk it would be a total mess.

I have been eating this cereal for 30 years and in the last 3 months it has become trash. The cereal is crushed and is just wrong. It’s nothing at all Like it used to be what on earth is going on. Tried it three times now

I can't attest to others having theirs crushed, but I know most reviews are negative because a 'bone to pick' gives someone a desire to write the company: this of coarse is the correct form of advocacy for ones self and helps the company to improve. That being said, to get a truly unbiased and fair review, one needs to answer one question at a time... Taste: I eat it without milk. 5 stars for AWESOMENESS Packaging: Never really have a problem 4 stars. Likelihood of repeat purchase: 5 stars Because it is a certainty! Etc.

Okay seeing the other reviews makes me feel less crazy. I love this cereal but the last 4 boxes I’ve bought in the past month have also been smashed to bits. Clearly there is a quality control issue going on right now for this to keep happening. Very disappointing.

I had the same problem as many other customers reviewing. I bought a box at Christmas to make Chex mix. (sorry for the reference to another brand). The majority of the bag the cereal was in pieces. I picked out the whole ones. :( Yesterday I picked up another bag to make some puppy chow and opened it up and found the same issue. It took that whole box plus what I had left over from Christmas to get 8 cups that were not in pieces. Please let me know when this issue is resolved because I have always preferred crispix over the other brand for my snacks.

love this cereal but so totally disappointed in the size of the cereal. Used to be nice and plump, great for super bowl snacks but after opening, half were crushed, almost unusable and with the high cost, feel your company is ripping the consumer. Won't be buying more anytime soon.

Love this cereal for multiple different snack recipes. Purched 6+ boxes in the past 4-6weeks and each one is crumbs. Does not work for my snack recipes. So disappointed in this usually wonderful cereal.

Recipe Change for the Worst?

We have been eating Crispix for years and love it. We bought two boxes recently that are significantly different than what we have been buying. The cereal is a darker, duller color. The shape is flatter. It’s not as crisp. And, neither of us likes the flavor. After opening the first box, we thought it was just a one-off. But, the second box is the same. Please let us know if this is a recipe change so we do not continue buying it hoping for to get the cereal we used to eat previously.

I ordered 3 boxes of Crispix to make Crispix mix. What I received were pieces and crumbs, almost no complete full pieces of cereal. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!

I’ve been disappointed in Crispix lately. The cereal seems to have changed in quality. I’ve opened several boxes to find that most of the pieces are broken or crushed. I’ve even bought from different stores to see if it made a difference. I’m hoping this improves because it has been one of my favorite cereals.

Not the puffy baskets we used to get with two different colored sides. Looks like Chex has been a bad influence on our once perfect Crispix. We don't like Chex. Give us back the way Crispix used to be. First Product 19 was wrecked, now Crispix?

Reformulated Crispix are a bust

Crispix has been my favorite cereal for YEARS. It's a family joke how devoted I am to Crispix. But I'm very sad to find that it appears Crispix has fallen victim to the "negative reformulation" that many products are undergoing. I thought it was a fluke when I found, in recent months, that a box was mostly broken up. But, unfortunately, every box I buy seems to be all busted up because the crisps are thinner. They're very tasteless and get soggy fast in milk. The REASON I bought Crispix was because they stayed crispy in milk! I don't think it's worth spending so much money for a product that no longer meets my expectations. I'm very disappointed that businesses must change the quality of the product, thus negating the reason the public buys the product in the first place. Please, please, please reformulate back to the Crispix we love!

I've purchased two different boxes of Crispix at two different grocery stores over the past week and BOTH boxes only contain corn halves. There aren't any whole crispix with the rice on the other side. Very frustrating. I love this cereal.

I love Crispix cereal, have for 20+ years! I have the same question as the last reviewer, what is going on! I’ve bought 3 boxes over the past 2 months (at different stores) and in all 3 boxes half of the cereal is crushed with no damage to the box.

Crispix is my No. 1 favorite cereal! Has been since I was a kid. Great crunch. Not too sweet. Classic. Once, during the pandemic, I could not find any. so I bought a box of corn Chex and a box of rice Chex, and mixed them together, but it wasn’t the same. I’m so glad it’s still around and seemingly popular!

Used to be great. I use crispix when I make puppy chow but this year..what a mistake. Upon opening the box, half of the pieces were broken. Thought it was just a bad box but then the next one I bought was the exact same. Something changed with the recipe and it’s quite unfortunate.
